Inside awaits a 2 bedroom, 2 bath en suite, completely renovated beach cottage with 10 foot ceilings, fully trimmed in custom wood molding with rosettes, travertine floors and showers, granite countertops in kitchen and bathrooms, stainless steel appliances. Indulge yourself with bed linens made from Egyptian Cotton and LaCoste Bath Towels. For your indoor relaxation rest upon Thomasville furniture or a Reclining Barca Lounge.

Sunset and Sunrise Cottages are next door to one another. They are totally separate and private. Each has its own private heated pool. While staying at one cottage, you cannot see the guests at the other.....UNLESS.....You choose to open the gate on the far end of the patio, creating a passage from one cottage to the other.

You'll receive complete information about Sunrise so you'll know what to expect when you arrive. We answer all questions promptly and treat you the way we would want to be treated. We extend a special welcome to our wonderful overseas guests - we promise to do everything we can to make you happy when you come so far to visit our beautiful island. Our goal is for all our guests is to remember Sunrise Cottage as their home away from home on Anna Maria Island.

We purchased Sunrise Cottage because of the feeling you get driving across the island/mainland bridge. It’s the beginning of the rainbow. Sunrise cottage is the pot of gold awaiting you.

What makes this house unique

Staying in a cottage provides privacy while offering guests an opportunity to be part of a small community of friendly people who truly value their quality of life on the island. From the cottage guests can walk across the street to the beach to catch a spectacular sunset or walk one block in the other direction to peruse the many shops or enjoy the restaurants. Two guests once left in the morning to walk to breakfast and didn’t return until late afternoon because they strolled from shop to shop, enjoying wares and conversation with shop owners. It's nice to attain at least a temporary respite from fast food joints, high rises, and traffic - at Sunrise Cottage it doesn't take long to convert to 'island time'.

Pristine and Cute sunrise cottage

Beautiful cottage and pool. Very bright, airy and clean. Location was awesome- a short block to the beach and restaurants and shopping. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the clean and soft linens. The pool though was the best part! We had a bit of a heat wave so spent most of our time in it. Kids preferred it over the beach!
We will certainly return to this house and highly recommend to others.

Wonderful Getaway

We had a wonderful time at what we started calling "the villa". Secluded and private, yet just one block from the beach, island shopping, and restaurants. Having a private pool and BBQ was great and the villa was very comfortable and updated. If you are looking for privacy and comfort, it doesn't get much better than this. And the fresh fish......I want to go back right now. Brad and Terry
