Lovely home just a few minutes walk from beautiful Low Beach ocean and short bike ride to the charming village where you will find a market to get your newspaper & home made muffins, gourmet restaurants, post office & bus into town. Classic Nantucket upside down style makes it perfect for enjoying the water views from a lovely deck situated off the dining/great room. The interior of this home is functional and very pretty with an island feel. It is tastefully furnished with lots of crisp linens, each bedroom has a nice sized well thought out closet space. Easy for entertaining with a kitchen equipped to handle a stay at home dinner party or a pack up picnic with gear & sandwiches for the beach. Upstairs has 2 separate sitting areas - one with a wood burning stove, the other with 2 sofas. The private yard is replete with a large outdoor shower. Each bedroom has a TV. Upstairs there's a small work area with Mac, fax/printer... Oh did we leave out the frozen Margarita machine?!

I have rented houses all over the world and this was one of my favorite. The location is perfect. We were able to enjoy the tranquility of the quiet road but found it incredibly convenient to stroll to the beach and bike into town. The house is immaculately kept and chicly decorated. Our family felt right at home. It had the luxuries of a hotel and the feel of a home. The layout of the house gave our family several options. There were plenty of beds and we even decided to entertain given the abundance of seating areas. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for the perfect Nantucket getaway.

Last summer my family enjoyed a fabulous vacation at this home. It is tastefully decorated, comfortable and quite roomy for the whole family. Its location in Sconset is perfect - walking distance to beach and just a 2 minute bike ride to Sconset Market and the Casino where the kids loved to meet up with others. Everything about the home and setting is perfect! We cannot wait to return this summer!

Fabulous Sconset Home

My family and I had a perfect week at this home. It is beautifully decorated and plenty of room for our family of 5. The location is quiet yet walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed a short bike ride along the coast every morning up to the sconset market for breakfast.
At night, while the kids met up with all the young people at the Casino, i relaxed on the beautiful porch and watched the sun set over the ocean.
I would recommend this spot to anyone - families or couples. We cannot wait to return again this summer!

We picked Nantucket and this home to celebrate my 40th birthday. We couldn't have been happier. Being able to hear the ocean surf, walk and bike along the ocean, and at times be the ONLY people on our stretch of beach made it an incredible trip.

The house is very clean, and a good balance between Nantucket charm and modernized at the same time. There is a large grassy yard that allowed our toddler to run around, the girls to lay out, and the guys to play wiffleball.

Definitely rent a vehicle.

We'll be returning here the next time we visit Nantucket.
