The house is nice enough, but not quite as described -- it has been renovated, but probably 20 years ago, and a few things are kind of cobbled together. Also, the owner warned us it was "dog-friendly", and indeed, it smelled heavily of dog. Likewise, the grill is actually a small bare patch surrounded by cinder blocks.
Although we were willing to overlook all of these things, the owners' treatment of us after we stayed at the house has been very poor. Initially, the owners were very friendly and responsive, although their responsiveness decreased during our stay. There were some problems with the hot tub and electricity during our short stay, and the owners were not able to resolve this matter before we left. We asked for a partial refund as we did not get everything we paid for, including use of an amenity that lead us to rent the house in the first place. I have emailed the owners three times at an email address they used very recently and have received not a single reply. My call to them was not returned.
In short, this house is fine for a weekend away if you don't mind it a bit rough around the edges. However, should you have a problem and need the owners' cooperation after your stay, you won't get a response.
Owner's Response: We're sorry that this renter found our house "rough around the edges", but when we talk to folks we tell them that it is like going to Grandma's house. It is not luxurious, and somewhat old-fashioned but we clearly state that in our ad, and it is also reflected in the price. However, we have heard from many people as to how much they enjoyed their stay there. We did respond during the renter's stay, but since they were only there the weekend, we could not get the hot tub electricity worked out. It is taken care of now. However, we did not receive any further emails nor a call regarding refund. We do feel our home is enjoyable for most people, and fills a special niche.
