Berkeley Elmwood / Rockridge best neighborhood:
Our neighborhood is quiet and safe and very pleasant to walk around in. This is an ideal location in the San Francisco Bay Area as it is near all sorts of public transportation, freeway access, shopping, etc.
Near the corner of Woolsey and Colby – a couple short blocks to College Avenue.
Walk to UC Berkeley, BART, many local bus lines, or use our Free Off-Street Parking and drive to San Francisco in 20 minutes. Freeway access is well under a mile. Wonderful book stores, restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, chocolate shops, bakeries (La Farine), Market Hall deli and specialty shop, cheese shops, etc. This is a foodie's heaven.
There are 3 wonderful small playgrounds just a couple short blocks away that include toys for the kids. A new innovation in kid-care is the nearby Tumble and Tea cafe where parents bring their kids to play while the parents drink tea or coffee. A great place to bring your small child when the weather is rough. Full menu, too.

Our vintage, 1910, flat is upgraded for comfort. This flat is not occupied -- so you won't be living among someone else's life. Comfy living room furniture, comfy garden furniture. Feather and foam pillows. Plush towels and bath sheets. Hair dryer. Teapot, auto coffee maker and French press. 'Pur' filtered water. Lots of room for games, toys or lounging.
Ski:
You can be at Sugar Bowl in 2-1/2 hours from our flat -- Squaw Valley in 3-1/2. All of Tahoe skiing is available to you, as well Ski Bear on Hiway 4 and many others.
Golf:
There are many public golf courses nearby -- from the bucolic setting of Tilden Park to the urban situated. We can provide a list of at least 6 courses.
Other Activities:
Vast network of Regional Parks provide hiking, birding, camping, picnicing
