About Linda

My husband, Art, and I bought our first home in the Mount Washington Valley in 2004. First, we used it as a vacation getaway but eventually, loved the area so much, we retired here in 2007. In 2009, went looking for a house that visitors to the area would enjoy vacationing at and would feel at home in. We found this perfect house just minutes from 5 beaches and close to all the attractions in the Mount Washington Valley area.

Linda purchased this house in 2009

Loved it and returning!

After a hectic and busy year of working, loved going to get away! Happened upon this house on HomeAway and am so glad we did.

It is a great, roomy and cozy house near a pond. Loved that it was secluded but also close enough to things we could do like shopping, sight seeing, restaurants and more. We loved it so much, that I have booked it again for this summer. Can't wait to see the beautiful scenery near by and relax. Linda responds right away and the house is as described. Highly recommend!

Fully equipped home in great location

  • 4 of 5

The owners are fantastic to deal with responding very quickly to our questions. We had a young baby and toddler with us so the equipment was brilliant, stair gates, baby swing, buggy, high chair, playpen, booster seat, static and portable crib and also buckets and spades. We loved the bikes as its so easy to cycle around Eidelweiss. The beach where the canoe is stored is really small but that meant that nobody else used it so it was like our own private beach. The pond is more like a lake and is really clean to swim in. It took us about an hour to get round the lake in the canoe. We never found the traffic to north conway to be a problem and was an easy 15/20 min drive. We had a great time staying there and it was very easy to pay via paypal. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night! Thanks Art and Linda x

Owner's Response: We love it when you love our home! Our goal is to provide a cozy, warm and comfortable place where you can relax and have fun with family and friends while exploring the White Mountain region. We want everyone to feel that they can come back year after year and feel like they are home. Best wishes to all. Art and Linda

Lovely, clean, comfortable home

Our family had a wonderful stay at this vacation home. It was roomy, very clean, had everything we needed including towels and linens. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. We enjoyed the fireplace, loved to open the sliding doors in the morning to hear the birds. We used the gazebo for a mosquito free dinner. The canoe was lots of fun. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect home for our family vacation we truly felt at home!

I looked at a number of rentals before having the good fortune to find the perfect getaway rental. The home does present itself exactly as the pictures show and is spotlessly clean. You feel like you are staying in a friend's home vs. a rental. The owner's have absolutely thought of everything you could need. Have a small child? There's a crib, monitor, safety gate to name a few things. Teenagers? A downstairs gameroom with TV. Like to be outside? An incredible wrap around deck with a screened gazebo. A blender for Margherita's and a popcorn bowl set for movie night; we didn't want to leave.

While off the main road, it was a quick shot into town and the local deli was perfect for lunch while nearby a local favorite, Almost Home was the great for takeout the night you don't want to BBQ. The small private beach was the perfect size for our family, I didn't need to chase the young ones around a huge beach and worry constantly, they were always within reachable distance. And having a canoe was a bonus, not to mention the fact that it is kept at the beacjh and easy to access. A family friendly house close to hiking, parks, Storyland, and outlets, we definately plan to return next year.

And the Tucker's seem to geniunly care that their renters have a great stay. They are friendly and responsive.

I couldn't give this rental a higher recommendation.

We spent the week of July 16th thru 23rd 2011 at this beautiful was a wonderful house and area, and so very relaxing, which is what we were looking for. The White Mountains are gorgeous and the Conway Scenic Railroad was a fun activity...the lake was so clear and very refreshing, considering we had a rather hot week! Definitely would love to spend more time there!!

Perfect home with a great owner

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed a great week of fun in New Hamshire at this ideal home. From the very first contact with the owner to the day we checked out it has been a pleasure. The house was spotless and the owner thought of everything you might need. The only surprises were pleasent ones! Everything was as described or better. The owner has made sure you have everything you need and is right there if you have a question. Our only regret is not renting it longer!

Rent with confidence. You will not be dissappointed.
