ENHANCED GUEST SERVICE: Rest assured that this home away from home is professionally managed. We provide cleaning services, regular maintenance, lock-out service and 24/7 emergency call service.
FEES & TAXES: Taxes and fees are not included in the posted nightly rate. Unlike many of our competitors that build their fees into the nightly rate, we will send you a quote with the breakdown of all costs.

DISCOUNTS YOU WILL USE: As a guest of Summit County Mountain Retreats, you can take advantage of discounts on an array of services including ski rentals, ground transportation, bike rentals, horseback riding and much more. Let us know during the booking process, and we'll make sure you have what you need.
WATCH OUT FOR GIMMICKS: Don’t be fooled when someone offers discounted lift tickets. Discounts on lift tickets are all the same as long as you do not buy at the ticket window. Buy your discounted lift tickets from the kiosk at the grocery store or online. Kids Ski Free is another gimmick designed to make guests believe they’re getting a deal when in reality they’re paying higher nightly rates and an “amenities fee.” When you do the math on total cost of stay it turns out it’s not a deal at all.
This property is professionally managed for the owner by Summit County Mountain Retreats. They offer a variety of Keystone lodging options, from luxurious ski-in/ski-out condos to an eight-bedroom mountain home, and everything in between. With a guarantee that they offer market driven pricing you can experience the majesty of Keystone without spending a fortune.
River Run Village is the newest area of Keystone and festivals and events are just a short walk away from Expedition Station. It is walking distance (150 yards) to the new, high-speed gondola, and the building has free heated parking under the building. When I am staying here, I don't have to drive anywhere. Everything I need is just a short walk from the condo.
**Shared Pool and Hot Tub
**Short walk to Gondola
Nice upgrades. Loved the new King Bed. Views are excellent and River Run is the place to stay in Keystone
We were disappointed in a fire place that was broken, as well as, dirty carpets and a kitchen that wasn't really stocked with dishes etc that you would expect. Location was great, but even the outside pool was a disappointment. There are no heated mats like other places with outside pools and hot tubs in the winter so the walking surface became a very icy when leaving to go back inside. Huge danger for all, but especially children and seniors.
The unit itself was overall clean and there were some basic things that should have been in place when we arrived, such as enough bedding for all of the beds but Summit Cove staff did help us very quickly! The main problem with the condo, it's located directly next to the ski locker room and main lobby entrance.
The unit location was great to retrieve your own ski's, but you can also hear the locker room happenings all day. The unit is also right next to the lobby entrance, which normally should be very convenient! Unfortunately we had many college age students that did not observe quiet hours. We reported the noise for 3 nights straight, spoke with Summit Cove and the Expedition Station Property Manager directly and everyone said quiet hours should be observed, they would take care of the problem etc but it was never resolved. When security was called, the noise would diminish for a short time but would start up again and continue until 3:00 to 4:00am. Our family vacation was impacted due to this group completely taking over the lobby, pool table area, pool and hot tub with drinking, running up and down the halls, going up and down the stairs etc. If this large of a group is allowed to stay at one time, then security needs to be in place to assure other guests are able to enjoy their stay as well.
We have rented many times from VRBO and have had wonderful experiences!! We are very disappointed with this particular experience and will not return to Expedition Station.
