About The Owner

We moved to the island to get closer to nature and raise our family. We want to share Salt Spring with others. What drew us here will probably draw you too: the artists, the alternative lifestyle, the peacefulness, the beauty, the healing, the friendliness. Salt Spring has it all and is arguably the nicest place to live in Canada. Salt Spring is a natural fit for us. We are both healers and this is a healing place. Our healing techniques make a lot more sense right up close to nature. Enjoy any one of our specialties; Acupuncture, Craniosacral Therapy, Rolfing, private yoga or the Alexander Technique.

The Owner purchased this cabin in 2007

Perfect cozy rustic and romantic getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at happi/nest, it was everything we were hoping for. The bed is SUPER soft and cozy, we loved watching the wood burning fireplace from bed. The bath was HUGE, my partner is 6"4 and it's the only bath we've ever been able to lie in comfortably together. It really does feel like you're in a tree house, but it's also super clean. Prefect combo of rustic and luxurious. It's near Ganges, just a short drive to restaurants and even though it's near a main road it's very quiet and peaceful. Mostly you just hear the sounds of birds. We would definitely go back!!

Restful retreat

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at the Happinest! It was a restful and cozy getaway. We loved the character of the place - the reclaimed windows and doors, the amazing tub, the cozy bed, and the rain on the tin roof. We'll be back in a flash!

we were charmed by the cabin and its nooks and crannies.

thank you for the cupboard full of wood, the large tub and candles, the deck of cards and the delicious, cold drinking water from the tap.

Holiday retreat in the woods

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Happinest. The cottage was cozy, quiet, and had everything we needed. We were car-free, and managed to get around well using the local buses and our feet. We highly recommend it!

Oasis on Salt Spring

  • 5 of 5

Dear Kathe and Bruce and the Rest of the Happi/nest clan,

Thank you for this gorgeous week of oasis. I had hoped it would be good for my soul - but it has been better than I could have dared dream. this lovely space and your enormous blessed skills as healers have allowed me to sort thru some long overdue emotional, mental, physical and spiritual baggage. I am so grateful. I am profoundly impacted.

Blessings and love on you all.

Michelle
