Cozy Creek is just over an hours drive from both the Great Smokey Mountain National Park and the beginning of the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway. The area rivers were home to the 1996 Olympic kayaking events. So relaxing drives, fly fishing, nature trail hiking, white water kayaking or rafting, multiple lakes for boating, horseback riding journeys and 4-wheel adventures are just some of the many ways to spend your active day enjoying the area.
Two-hour drives include destinations like the Cherokee Indian Reservation, the Biltmore (Castle) in Asheville, Chattanooga or even Atlanta if you must!
The Cabin:
Cozy CreeK is a unique cabin, built in Nov 2006. Large enough for your wishes, small enough to look and feel like a cabin built years past. A throw back to a rustic trapper cabin, but with upgrades.
Tin roof, two levels of decking, multiple sets of French doors, outside wood burning fireplace, hot tub and river gazebo are but a few of the many upgrades of pleasure that await you. It is a land of four seasons...spring dogwoods, hot summers with cool nights, exceptional fall colors, especially with the top down. Our winters bring a snowstorm or two, but will typically not last more than a few days or so.
For the full effect of the creek, head down to the gazebo porch swing. A lighted pathway is provided for those late night visits. The hot tub deck also has great views of the area. Although it is set far enough back to avoid the rain, don’t be surprised by a cool misty spray in your face when the skies decide to open up. It is all part of the experience that comes with staying at Cozy Creek.
