Located on fairway four of the beautiful Sierra Star Golf Course, and just a short walk to the ski lifts, this home represents the best of luxury accommodations as well as premiere location. This large and newly built home features a main floor master suite as well as two living rooms and view decks over looking the golf course. Kitchen is fully equipped with the best of Viking appliances including duel ovens. The great room is off the kitchen and has a wood burning fireplace. Guests entertain here and enjoy the flow from the large center island kitchen to other living and dining spaces. This uniquely rustic home features large logs and copper highlights through-out. Downstairs there are 3 bedrooms with two baths, a large game room, a wine storage room, a complete gym with sauna and a large hot tub on the patio. Go up the log stairs to the upper floor, and two bedroom suites with hearths, a queen sleeper sofa in the loft, an office in the view turret, and a private view deck welcome U.

Notes: Home is on the Sierra Star Golf Course and balls can occasionally hit the grounds. Especially be careful out back. Altitude is approximately 8,500 FT so allow time to acclimate. Consult with physician if there's possibly a problem. Snow (heavy) and ice are common in winter. Main floor has master so elderly and wheel chair guests can use main floor for best results. There is a porch step up to the front door entrance as well as from the garage. Small children must be watched carefully as they are tempted to climb above the log railings in the loft and this, as well as from the decks and other furniture, can result in very nasty falls if not restricted. Lower floor is best for smaller kids, or main floor using sofa sleeper off the master. Mammoth has bears, raccoons and other animals that scavenge, and eating or carrying food outdoors should be limited, especially with children. Upper decks are great for eating outside.

About the photos: Much of the furniture and design elements were not included in these photos. We're in the process of updating them. Home is at 8,500 ft elevation. Yosemite is just to the North of Mammoth Lakes.

Other amenities: The garage has a ski/board/boots and gloves storage rack. Please be mindful of keeping these items restricted to the garage area. Snow removal on Lodestar Drive, and also for the driveway, are provided, although it is common to have to wait awhile until the services get to it. Driveways with cars parked in them cannot be cleared unless you move them out for the service.

Ski: Walk to Little Eagle Base Camp (Juniper Springs) with ski boots on and carrying gear in 5 minutes. Come back and meet the gang for lunch...

Golf: Very close to the Sierra Star club house, and sits on the course on fairway four. Careful of flying golf balls!
