Poor Mans Mansion

This was our 2nd year staying over Labor Day Weekend. We love it! The house is perfect for all of us. Adults, Teenagers and Babies! The owners are great and very accomodating. My nephew was visiting for the day and fishing off the dock and fell in and got his clothes soaked. The only clothes he had and Donna graciously offered to throw them in her dryer for him! Its nice having them for neighbors. And having them next door is a plus not a minus...like some landlords, they do not bother you or intrude. We look forward to seeing them again next year. The house is very clean and spacious. The kitchen is big enough for everyone to get in there and help with cooking and clean up. I would recommend this house to anyone!!

We stayed here in early June, there were six of us total, and we had an amazing time. Bob and Donna keep the property well maintained and live right next door if you need any help. They are extremely nice. The house sits right on the lake and there are plenty of kayaks and boats available. You can boat across the lake to a small beach with a floating dock. The house has plenty of beds, a grill and fire pit, and a good size kitchen with plenty of counter space. The neighborhood is quiet with a few houses on either side of the property. During the day we were on the lake and grilled in the backyard and at night we had a fire but kept the noise down and didn't have any complaints from neighbors. Bob and Donna are laid back, helpful and left us to ourselves while at the house. This place would be a great place for families or in our case a few guys looking to get out of the city for the weekend.
