Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Our cabin on the grounds of Old Camp Miramichee, which was THE YWCA camp for girls and young women, lies less than two minutes from the Southfork of the Spring river, and it is indeed a place of rest and refreshment. Once the kitchen of the dining hall for Camp Miramichee, our cabin has been converted to a two bedroom, one full bath cabin with full kitchen facilities, and a lounge area equipped with satellite television for your enjoyment and relaxation. The large porch facing the parking area was once the place for campers to have snacks given to us by Ophelia, our cook. The memories of banana pudding and bug juice linger. This cabin lies in close proximity to the Southfork of the Spring River—less than a two minute walk.. One may enjoy swimming, canoeing, fishing, or simply sitting by the river watching and listening to the water flow and re-creating oneself after a busy work week. Should you, our guest, be more adventurous, horseback riding, golfing, and a new zipline as well as an array of other activities are available in the nearby areas.

Opry Music on Cedar Hil--Every Friday and Saturday Nights

Gospel Music Opry--Every 1st and 3rd Saturday nights

Jammin at Flat Creek Dulcimer Shop --Every Wednesday Afternoon

There are a number of festivals and events in Hardy, Cherokee Village and the surrounding areas during the summer.

Friday night, June 1st-Annual Spring River Car Cruise--June 2nd Spring River Antique Car Show at Loberg Park-Adm Free

June 9-10th Canoe Races..and Sportsmen's show at .Loberg Park

July 4th- Thunderfest All Day in Cherokee Village followed by Thunderbird Fireworks Show at 7PM also in Cherokee Village

Griffin Park Bike Rally and other activities 4th of July Weekend.

So Come, Come to Miramichee and enjoy your time in our cabin relaxing and resting, or participating in the many available activities in the nearby area.

About The Owner

I am a former camper of Camp Miramichee and enjoyed many wonderful summers up in Hardy AR. Love to canoe and swim in the refreshing waters of the Spring River. .

The Owner purchased this cabin in 2006
Why The Owner chose Hardy

This cabin used to be Kitchen preparation area of the Dining Hall of Old Camp Miramichee.

What makes this cabin unique

Very close proximity to the River for enjoying canoeing with friends. Also nice to just hang out and enjoy some rest from the rat race of everyday city life. Great food, great people!!!

Cabin exceeded any expectations. Everything one could wish for in a getaway. Perfect location, owner was especially helpful in answering any questions. Cabin well appointed, beds great with excellent linens. Would definitely recommend. Planning on a return trip.
