This is a great vacation lake house for family or family and friends that has a large gourmet kitchen. The house can sleep up to 16 comfortably. Renovations were made in 2013 to the master bathroom and a new couch and recliner were added to the living room.
The home is split into three levels. You first descend the stairs to the ground floor where you'll find a half bath and the bedroom set up with two twin beds with trundle beds.
From the ground floor, you descend to another floor that has a half bath, a full bath, the room with queen bunk beds, and a room with a single queen. Both rooms open up to a patio that has the hot tub an views of the hills and the lake.
Above the ground floor is the large, open living room, dining room, kitchen, and game room. This floor opens up to a patio that is above the one below and has seating for 8 and the gas BBQ pit.
One more flight above the living room is the large master suite with master bathroom and a private patio.

John, Morgan, and James
James and Morgan (left to right) are long-time friends from Houston who have always loved the Texas Hill Country. They both attended Southwest Texas State University but returned to live and work in Houston. For years they had rented other homes in the area to enjoy Lake Travis but finally settled on buying this home. John (right) attended The University of Texas at Austin and loves the Austin-area, but also lives in Houston. He joined them in helping manage rentals for this home in 2010.
In addition to the beautiful views of Lake Travis and the Hill Country, this neighborhood has a quiet, wooded charm. Homes are built right into the hills, allowing for great panoramic views of the surrounding area. Sitting out on the patio, you get the feeling of being up in the trees. Every day you will see deer grazing around the neighborhood and hopping through the coves around the home.
