Activities at the lake include fishing, boating, swimming, picnicking, skating, hockey, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ballooning, jet skiing, sailing, ice fishing, bird watching, sunning. There are many local things to do including, but not limited to, apple picking, Old Sturbridge Village, Brimfield Flea Market, visiting the monastery, zoo and art museums in Worcester, lots of restaurants, boating to Lake Lashaway Inn and eating on the waterfront deck, malls located in Sturbridge which is 15 minutes away or Auburn about 30 minutes away. Outlet malls are in Lee or Wrentham. Worcester has night life and is also about 30 minutes away. East Brookfield does have live music at the Lashaway Inn in the summers on the deck on Sundays and Franks Pub also has music and karaoke on Main Street E. Brookfield. Lake Lashaway is approximately a 300 acre full recreational lake with a public boat ramp. This house does have a dock to moor at.

Great for fishing, snowmobiling, swimming, ice skating, hiking, canoeing, Quabbin Reservoir, farmer's markets, ballooning, ice fishing, cross country skiing. Private cove no house on road. Wooded. Close to Brimfield flea market, apple orchards, Old Sturbridge Village, restaurants. About 1 hour to Boston. 2 hours to New Hampshire. 3 hours to Vermont for skiing.

Ski: Ski locally at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area in Princeton, MA. Approximately a 45 drive. Good prices, good food, good times. Skiers and boarders welcome. Jiminy Peak in the Berkshires is also a fun time and is about 2 hours away. For larger mountains, venture into Vermont, a 3 hour drive for lower VT.

Golf: Golf in Leicester at the Leicester Country Club or Hill Crest Country Club. About 15 minute drive. There is also golfing in Rutland and Charlton also close by.
