Beaches:
Seven miles of beaches is what you will find on Anna Maria Island, with plenty of water sports from swimming to parasailing over the Gulf waters. A free trolley runs the Island from 7:30 am to 10:30pm. We have restaurants to suit most any taste from sitting out slipping wine and listening to the music at the Beachhouse or Sandbar large decks, steel drums at Jamrocks, enjoy crab claws at Moore's Stone Crab, dress up for dinner at the Beach Bistro or Waterfront, or come as your are to Skinny's at Manatee Beach or enjoy something right off the boat at the Star Fish at the Cortez Fishing Village. There are also shopping at Bridge Street , Pine Avenue or Marina Drive; or just enjoy a breath taking sunset while lounging on the beach.

With in a 30 minute drive you have Mote Marine, South Florida Museum, G-Wiz hands on Museum for kids, Ringling Museum, Snooty the Manatee at Paker Manatee Aquarium, Bishop Planetaruim, and Sarasota Jungle Gardens. There is also local theaters, Island Player, Manatee Player, Sarasota Players, Asolo, and the Florida Theatre. The Area also has De Soto National Memorial, Mixon Fruit Farm , Train Museum in Parrish, and varies Parks.
Theme Parks:
Busch Garden and Adventure Island are with in a hours drive along with the Florida Aquarium and Mosi. Disney, Universal Parks, and Sea World are about a 2 hours drive.
Golf:
Manatee and Sarasota County offer several golf courses from public to private to suit your golfing taste.
