Just a short walk to the east, on Sapodilla Hill, is the famous site at which shipwrecked sailors carved their names in stones. These stones still survive. The site is such a national treasure that the government has removed the originals for safe keeping. Replicas have been placed in the original locations. Make it a point to include this walk while you are here.
