Those who have visited Hilton Head Island, SC, know that it is a very different vacation spot. It is all about relaxation in a high class, natural atmosphere. Well, our condo at the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort on Folly Field Beach is a very different vacation rental. From the minute you first walk in the door, you will feel as if you are visiting your home away from home. You will notice there is no cheap, hotel type furniture or tacky, mass produced art work on the walls. Instead, there are fine antiques and hand signed paintings in the décor of the Spanish Mediterranean. Our condo is on the lower level of the C building, just about 100 yards from the beach and the largest Oceanside pool on Hilton Head Island. There are no streets to cross to get to the beach; just a 2 or 3 minute walk and you are there. There are 2 onsite restaurants, 10 lighted tennis courts, fitness center, concert hall, playground, free WiFi, and a 42” HD TV/Blu Ray player for your entertainment.

Hilton Head Island is not your typical beach vacation spot. It is known to be an upscale community with its landscape left as 'un-commercialized' as possible. There are town ordinances that do not allow billboards and store signs are kept very low key. This makes for a very beautiful environment. Hilton Head has always had the reputation of being a place where the rich and famous vacation and some even call it home. Well, you don't necessarily have to be rich or famous to vacation with us. We make it very affordable. Just come on down and stay at your new 'home away from home'.

The condo was clean and comfortable. Property nicely landscaped. Everything was close by shopping, groceries. Quick and easy check-in. Short walk to pool and beach. Less people on the beach in October, made walking and biking enjoyable. Weather perfect (80's) water still warm for swimming. We tried deep sea fishing with no luck but the boat ride was nice. We loved Barnacle Bill's seafood market just down the road. Done a wonderful day trip to Savannah (40 minutes away). Charleston is 2 hours but it is a must see. Every night we went to sit on the beach and just take it all in under moonlite--life is so good! At the end of a hard day of relaxing and biking on the beach, we would sit down with a bottle of wine and thank Steven and Karen for sharing their condo with us.

This is a such an elegant yet comfortable place! We enjoyed the television and blu-ray on a rainy morning! The ocean and pool are just a quick walk through the parking lot! We really enjoyed the trip. Thank you Steve & Karen!
