Wonderful vacation!!!

Mary and I arrived on 8/29/09 for our 7 day/night stay in Villa 370. Our expectations were exceeded at every turn. From the quick and easy check-in to the covered (most of the time) parking available. We found our Villa very clean, comfortable, quiet and complete with amenities. The Villa had ceiling fans in the living and bedroom plus a wall fan drawing air into the bedroom. Very, very comfortable Although we had celebrated our 20th anniversary in June, our week in Villa 370 (plus 5 days in Villa 141) was more like a honeymoon. John and Barb (owners of both units) extended the warmth of Southern Hospitality from the first phone conversation and emails exchanged. Their list of their "favorites" in restaurants and menu picks was very helpful. We followed their recommendations and picked a few of our own. Their directions to locations helped us get acquainted with the lay of the land very quickly. The bicycles were such a great way to travel and so much fun.
The views from the ocean front balcony (3rd floor) was beyond our expectations. Quick and easy access to the beach gave us the opportunity to enjoy it many times over. We don't get to build anything in sand very often here in Kansas City, so a 8 foot long mermaid was the order of one of our outings. Flying a kite another. HHI is truely a beautiful and friendly vacation spot. As soon as we have a date locked in next fall we will be reserving a Villa at Sea Side---hopefully Villa 370. Thank you, Darrell
