Nice house! Walk to beach. No traffic to cross.

My extended family stayed at this house for 5 nights in December. We were 5 adults and 3 kids. The house was very nicely located in a small, quiet neighborhood on the beach side of Rte A1A in the heart of Ft. Lauderdale. The house wasn't on the beach, but very close. There were no streets to cross to get to the beach. It was approx. a 3 minute walk thru a parklike area. The house itself appeared to be professionally decorated, with what I'd consider a very tasteful decor. It had two spacious family rooms inside so that we all weren't on top of each other. I thought the house was up-to-date, with a nice, well stocked, spacious kitchen. Plenty of nice linens, towels, blankets, beach towels. The home really was perfect for our family. Large TVs, ipod docking entertainment system. We especially enjoyed the heated pool and hottub that is within steps of the home. There is a patio/rooftop area which we didn't really use since it was a bit windy and cool during our visit. If we visit Ft. Lauderdale again, we would stay there.
