On a quiet street in an active Parisian neighborhood, this roomy apartment was once a brasserie. It's on the ground floor, has a private garden and sun room, and offers a lot of space (by Paris standards). Two bedrooms sleep 2 people each and the living room sofa-bed accommodates 2 more for a total of 6 guests. The apartment is light and airy, cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. The kitchen is fully equipped, including washing machine for laundry. Additional amenities include free wi-fi, unlimited calls to France, US and UK landlines, cable TV, DVD player with children's videos on hand, stereo and MP3 hook-up. Within one block you have a local butcher, grocer, baker, fishmonger, chocolatier, and cheese shop, as well as Monoprix supermarket, many restaurants and various other shops. Add the local farmer's market and designer outlet stores on the rue d'Alesia, and everything you need is just a few steps away. For more information please go to www.athomeinparis.info.

We traveled as 2 couples and found this apartment to be perfect in terms of size and location. Would probably be too small & crowded if using sofa bed as well. Downstairs bedroom is best suited for children or mobile adults as it is located down a narrow steep stair. Apartment was well-maintained, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a 2 week stay in Paris. So nice to be able to have a comfortable place to relax and cook occasional meals vs. hotel stay. Convenient location just a few blocks from Pernety metro. Terrific neighborhood, with many good shops & restaurants. Recommend "La fournée d'Augustine" as far the best choice bakery - just at the end of the street. Away from the main tourist areas, so you'll feel like you're living as Parisians for your stay. Extremely fast & easy to navigate to all of Paris via metro. If you are staying for 1+ week, highly recommend you acquire the Passe Navigo Découverte card - we used the metro many times a day, and this card is much better than carnet book for heavy metro usage. Overall, highly recommend this apartment for a very pleasant stay in Paris! We look forward to returning ourselves.
I had the pleasure of staying here with three family members for a week. We loved the neighborhood. Every convenience, including the metro, is nearby and there are some good restaurants in the area. If you want to eat in, it's easy to pick up all sorts of foods just a block away. The apartment was clean, attractively decorated, funky in a good way. It worked well for us four (six might be tight) and was an excellent value. We hope to return soon!!
I've stayed at this apartment many times and it just keeps getting better. I can't wait to go back and check out all the new improvements. The neighborhood is wonderful, patisserie's boulangeries, cafe's right outside your door. Nice being in a neighborhood, but close enough to the subway to go where ever you want to in Paris. I can't wait to go back and would recommend to everyone. The owner is easy to work with and very accomodating.
Described by Chronicle Books as 'the Paris of Parisians,' this neighborhood has a wealth of shops on its main drag, the rue Raymond Losserand. It is walking distance to Montparnasse cemetery, shopping center, train station and, of course, famous brasseries of the 1920s expats. Also a short walk to the scenic rue Daguerre, and Denfert Rochereau. Luxembourg gardens are just 10 minutes away by Metro, and access to all major tourist attractions is quick and simple by Metro as well.
