In the quiet small hamlet of Three Mile Bay we have a property that can accommodate up to 10 people. The larger cottage on the water is named 'Windermere'. It sits close to the water with a nice lawn and deck for eating, resting, or playing while enjoying the view and the beautiful sunsets. Windermere sleeps 6 comfortably. It has a full bathroom, large kitchen with island for easy preparation of meals and large family style dining area. Comfortable living room facing the water with large windows for getting the best views. A large dock is situated right off the front yard which can accommodate a motor boat or small sail boat with no keel. Great swimming, and fishing right from the dock! There is a public boat launch about 2 miles away in the village of Chaumont. If you have a larger crowd the smaller cottage 'Wylaway' can be added and sleeps 4 and has a full bath and kitchen area. Wylaway is situated behind Windermere, so it is very convenient. Very private!

Many festivals take place all summer long. Brownville Days, French Festival-Clayton, Can-Am Days in Historic Sacketts Harbor, War of 1812 Battlefield holds Marine Camp and Re-enactment in Sacketts Harbor, Craft Fair in Chaumont. Several wineries are in the area and give tours and wine tasting. Thousand Island boat tours with and without meals. Visit two castles on the islands. Go-Carts, Water Park, Mini-golf also in the Alexandria Bay area. There are 14 public golf courses in the area. Clayton Boat Museum, The Sacketts Harbor Battlefield Museum, Jefferson County Historical Museum, and Sci-Tech Center are nearby. The Adirondack park is a couple hours away, and Canada is about 45 minutes away over the Thousand Islands Bridge. The New York State Zoo at Thompson Park has animals native to New York, and there is a nice playground and public pool at Thompson Park.
