The upper floor defines what a great room is meant to be – with an area for everyone. A custom built-in entertainment center will satisfy both video and audio junkies, while the cozy sitting area in front of the granite fireplace is a great place to read a book or relax. A game table with pub seating is the perfect place for puzzles and more. The great room shares its hickory floors and soaring Alder-capped ceilings with the large, open kitchen. With its slab granite and stainless commercial-grade appliances, preparing dinners for two or entertaining a crowd is a delight. In addition to the custom kitchen bar which easily seats 7, there is plenty of room to gather around the dining room table. A wine refrigerator and walk-in pantry help ensure you have a place to keep your provisions. Enjoy the southern facing views of the surrounding forest through the soaring windows, or step out onto the 14’ x 30’ front deck where a gas BBQ and table with seating for six awaits you.
On the upper floor, you will also find the master bedroom suite with its heated floors and Jacuzzi tub, as well as an equally spacious second bedroom (king). Both bedrooms have access to a second large deck which overlooks the serenity of the forest. A large laundry room and full bathroom, each with custom travertine and slate complete the upstairs living area.
On the lower level, you will discover a family room and game area that will quickly become the kids’ favorite gathering place. There is a 65 inch DLP television in its own custom built-in entertainment center. With the surrounding speakers, games on the Playstation 3 or your favorite DVD movie (including Blue ray) will really come alive. There is also an iPod docking station in the downstairs media center, and a wet bar and refrigerator within easy reach of the family room. If you prefer, test your skills with a friendly game of Foosball, or just watch for deer from the covered lower-level back patio. The second master bedroom (queen) also enjoys access to the lower patio. A bunk room (4 twin beds) and a full bathroom complete the downstairs living area. A ping pong table is set up in the third bay of our over sized three car garage. In addition, there is a wired Internet connection available, as well as Wi-Fi throughout the house.
