Aunt Birdie's Place is a sweet retreat for travelers, perched on the shoulder of Doe Ridge 10 minutes from Boone. And it is either a 2 bedroom, 1 bath rental for smaller groups, or a spacious 4/2 (upstairs AND downstairs) for larger families or two families vacationing together. Peaceful, beautiful views surround you on the covered two-sided porch. Inside, you'll find a most interesting, comfortable place to enjoy your vacation. Some our guests have spent nearly all their time on this great porch with a cup of coffee or a good book. Others have walked out the door and hiked for hours. Others like to go to town and shop and enjoy the restaurants. Whatever you like to do, Aunt Birdie's is great base.

Aunt Birdie's top floor features a large eat-in kitchen with an over-sized lazy Susan table and views out every window. A large living room joins the kitchen and has fireplace. Two bedrooms and a bath complete the upper floor. One bedroom has a twin and a full bed, the other has a queen bed. The sofa is a queen sleeper. The interior is bright but cozy, an eclectic, comfy haven for travelers. There's a gas grill, porch swing, rocking chairs and binoculars. We've built a fire pit out back for you to enjoy in the evenings. There are games, puzzles, movies and some music, along with books to enjoy. Downstairs is a 2/1 with a queen bed & bunk beds, living room, fireplace, foosball table, games and lots of room to enjoy a mountain vacation. The downstairs kitchen has a small fridge, microwave, toaster oven and dishes/glasses/flatware.
