Tired of staying in Hotels, Please read this!

My husband and I have been traveling to Aruba for years. We have stayed in many of the hotels and have enjoyed each place we have stayed. 2 years ago we decided to take a chance and rent a home and I must say it was one of the best decision we made. We have found renting this home to be so much more enjoyable and a lot less expensive. It is wonderful to have your own private pool and yard. No fighting the crowds for a chair by the pool, front row every time! No having to walk 1/2 a mile to get a beverage or use the rest room!

Most people say "when I go on vacation I don't want to cook", and we don't either. We go to the grocery store and buy some of the basics (snacks and beverages) and then tend to have dinner out most nights. Sometimes we just enjoy staying at the house and having a BBQ and watching the sunset from the observation deck (which was new this year).
The house is in a great area which is very quiet and safe. It is only about 1 mile from the golf course and the Marriott. My friend and I enjoy walking each morning a great loop from the house, to golf course, over to ocean and down to Marriott, and then back to house. The guys enjoy golfing, so it is nice to jump in the car and be there in less than 5 minutes.
Like the other reviews, I agree renting a car is a must. It is worth it so you can go to some of the smaller beaching (which are also close to the house) and enjoy without a lot of crowds. The house provides beach chairs also.
My other concern when renting the house was what do I do if something happens while I am staying there?? With Kaz & Maria we have always had all questions answered very promptly. They will send you a very detailed list of all things about the house and how everything works, which is very much appreiciated. If there is any problems while your there, they have 2 great people who will be there in minutes to help you.(One of them will be there the day you arrive to welcome you and show you the house).
I hope if you are reading this and are on the fence about staying here, this will help you .All pictures and descriptions are very accurate.
I am the type of person who is always nervous about trying something new and I am so happy this was one chance I decided to take.
I hope you do also, you will be as happy as are about the place!!!

Wonderful Rental!

We just returned from spending two (2) weeks at this property and all I can say is I wish I was still there! Property very clean and well maintained and as listed on homeaway. Pool is great as is the location of the property. A car is needed but forget about national car rental places; local property manager (who were extremely helpful) will line one up with a local rental company at a considerable discounted price. Located about 3 minutes, by car, from high rise hotels, 5 minutes--if that--from some of the more popular beaches, and max of 10 minutes from Oranjestad. I would not hesitate in recommending this property nor would I hesitate in returning for another stay!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Wonderful Vacation Home

My wife and I have been coming to Aruba for 15 years and have rented many types of accommodations. This incredible house has it all. We loved the layout of the property and pool. Very private, romantic, quiet, picturesque, and safe is what comes to mind when I think about this house. We spent many hours relaxing by the pool and enjoying the awesome view of ocean and sunsets from the patio. We enjoyed the nearby beaches by the Marriott, only 3 minutes away. I played golf at Tierra del Sol, again just 4 min away. We enjoyed the amenities inside and outside. The pool is so inviting, day or night. This house is very private, no one can see into the backyard. We used the gas grill for lunch and visited the many close-by restaurants for dinner. As I write this many great memories flood back into my mind. This is where I wish I could retire. Like I said this house has it all. Our stay was very memorable, and I would whole heartedly recommend this house to anyone
