This beautiful villa offers privacy and serenity on the banks of Lake Mohave. It is surrounded by palm trees, with a fenced back yard, and is located in a peaceful and pleasant neighborhood in South West Cape Coral. The villa is extensively and tastefully equipped and offers over 1800 sq ft of fully air conditioned living area. Enjoy the lake view from most rooms in the villa. It boasts an extra large, fully screened and well furnished, south facing, pool area with plenty of space for both sun and shade worshipers. Watch the turtles and other wildlife, or fish for large bass, from our dock. Please bring your own canoe, kayak or small boat or hire one locally to explore the lake and connecting canals. A wireless high speed internet connection and printer is provided plus cable TV. Shops and restaurants are within a few minutes drive. A friendly house manager is available and willing to help you enjoy your stay. This is a wonderful base for exploring Florida's Gulf Coast and beaches.

Cape Coral was built about 40 years ago by the Rosen brothers who purchased the land and created more than 400 miles of canals. The Gulf Coast location provides abundant sunshine and endless opportunities for waterfront living. Lake Mohave was formed as part of the development of the network of canals and lakes. Mohave is the phonetic spelling for a Native American people known as Aha Macave (‘people who live along the river’). The nearby areas of Pine Island and Matlache predominantly remain as they were many years ago. In Matlache you can rent a boat and you are immediately in the Gulf without going through a lock and cruising miles and miles in the canals. Villa Mohave is situated in the South West of Cape Coral, close to restaurants, shops and amenities. There are at least five golf courses within easy reach of the villa

  • All prices do not include vat (6%) and city tax (5%).
  • Terms of payment:
    Short-term rentals of up to 3 weeks - A booking deposit of $400 is required to confirm the booking with the balance of the rent and a $400 security deposit due 30 days before your arrival. The booking deposit transfers to form the security deposit at the point of payment of the balance.

    Long-term rentals of 4 weeks or more. Prepayment of 20% of the total rental is required to confirm the booking. The balance of the rent plus a $400 security deposit are due 30 days before your arrival. $400 of the booking deposit transfers to form the security deposit at the point of payment of the full balance.

    For last minute bookings, within 30 days of your rental period beginning, the total rental and $400 security deposit are due on booking.

    Electric usage is included up to $30.00 per week, additional usage is $0.15 KWH. All bedding and towels are included. There is a cleaning fee of $120.00.
  • Cancellations and refunds:
    A cancellation fee of:
    10% of the whole amount will be charged up to 60 days prior to arrival.
    30% of the whole amount will be charged 59 - 30 days prior to arrival.
    60% of the whole amount will be charged 29 - 22 days prior to arrival.
    80% of the whole amount will be charged 21 days or less prior to arrival.
    Vacation cancellation insurance is recommended.

Just got back to UK after an excellent holiday in Florida. Villa Mohave was perfect as our base in Cape Coral. Beautifully furnished and in an idyllic setting on a lakeside, the villa is in the south of Cape Coral, only 25 minutes from Sanibel and Captiva islands (our favourite) We looked forward to breakfast by the pool each morning, admiring the beautiful view of the lake and it's wildlife. We love Florida and this was our first time in the Cape Coral area. It is perfectly situated on the Gulf Coast for trips to Sarasota and the Keys, Naples and even Miami which is only a few hours away. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Villa Mohave to anyone looking for a relaxing Florida holiday. Jay the house manager is very friendly and we enjoyed our chat with him. Pam & Steve made it very simple to book our stay and gave us lots of useful information about the area, restaurants etc..We hope to return to Florida soon and will stay at the Villa Mohave again (if available!).

Villa Mohave in Sunny Florida

We just returned from our vacation at Villa Mohave in Cape Coral and it was absolutely wonderful! The home is very clean and neat inside and out. The beds were very comfortable as was the rest of the house. It was everything the description said it was and lots more. There were plenty of chairs and lounge chairs in the pool area and plenty of room for laying in the sun or in the shade if you prefer. It had a great view of the lake and we enjoyed watching the wildlife in it, especially the turtles and the Iguana's that visited us daily. It was very relaxing an quiet. There was plenty to do in the area. The beaches were only 15-20 minutes away and we went and walked the beaches and did some shelling. There are plenty of places to shop and dine out if you want. We actually prefered to stay home and lounge by the pool and watch the palm trees sway in the warm tropical breeze and enjoy the wildlife. I would definitely recommend this home to family and friends. We will definitely return to Villa Mohave.
