This beautiful villa offers privacy and serenity on the banks of Lake Mohave. It is surrounded by palm trees, with a fenced back yard, and is located in a peaceful and pleasant neighborhood in South West Cape Coral. The villa is extensively and tastefully equipped and offers over 1800 sq ft of fully air conditioned living area. Enjoy the lake view from most rooms in the villa. It boasts an extra large, fully screened and well furnished, south facing, pool area with plenty of space for both sun and shade worshipers. Watch the turtles and other wildlife, or fish for large bass, from our dock. Please bring your own canoe, kayak or small boat or hire one locally to explore the lake and connecting canals. A wireless high speed internet connection and printer is provided plus cable TV. Shops and restaurants are within a few minutes drive. Friendly house managers are available and willing to help you enjoy your stay. This is a wonderful base for exploring Florida's Gulf Coast and beaches.

Jet Ski on the lake: Bring your own jet ski, boat or kayak and enjoy yourself in your own back yard.

Bring your own boat: You can launch your own boat from the nearby boat ramp and tie up at our dock. Explore the local canals or fish on the lake.

Cape Coral was built about 40 years ago by the Rosen brothers who purchased the land and created more than 400 miles of canals. The Gulf Coast location provides abundant sunshine and endless opportunities for waterfront living. Lake Mohave was formed as part of the development of the network of canals and lakes. Mohave is the phonetic spelling for a Native American people known as Aha Macave (‘people who live along the river’). The nearby areas of Pine Island and Matlache predominantly remain as they were many years ago. In Matlache you can rent a boat and you are immediately in the Gulf without going through a lock and cruising miles in canals. Villa Mohave is situated in the South West of Cape Coral, close to restaurants, shops and amenities. There are at least five golf courses within easy reach of the villa.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (US Dollar) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • All prices do not include vat (6%) and city tax (5%).
  • Terms of payment:
    Short-term rentals of up to 3 weeks - A booking deposit of $400 is required to confirm the booking with the balance of the rent due 30 days before your arrival.

    Long-term rentals of 4 weeks or more. Prepayment of 20% of the total rental is required to confirm the booking with the balance of the rent due 30 days before your arrival.

    For last minute bookings, within 30 days of your rental period beginning, the total rental is due on booking.

    Villa electric usage and solar pool heating is included, but pool heating is additional at $60 per week if needed. All bedding and towels are included.

    There is a cleaning fee of $120.00.

    A credit card swipe is taken by the property managment company in lieu of any need for a security deposit.
  • Cancellations and refunds:
    A cancellation fee of:
    10% of the whole amount will be charged up to 60 days prior to arrival.
    30% of the whole amount will be charged 59 - 30 days prior to arrival.
    60% of the whole amount will be charged 29 - 22 days prior to arrival.
    80% of the whole amount will be charged 21 days or less prior to arrival.
    Vacation cancellation insurance is recommended.

Just Perfect

This was our first holiday in Florida, and we feel that we could not have picked a better place. The villa was perfect in every way and provided for our every need. The bed was so comfortable (very important at our age). The pool was delightful and the view was to die for, so quiet and peaceful apart from the beautiful bird songs. It was nice to feed the turtles and watch the fish jumping and the birds diving.

We had some great meals in Reds seafood restaurant (recommended)

The villa is an excellent base for visiting all the attractions in the area. We also took a trip to Key West on the ferry from Fort Myers. We stayed over night but a couple of nights would have been better.

Our thanks to Pam and Steve for a wonderful first time holiday in Florida, the use of your lovely home, and we would very much like to return one day soon.

Perfect house and view

This house is very well designed and efficient. Everything was well stocked, clean and in working order. We really enjoyed the relaxing view and swimming in the pool. This is a million dollar view. Pam and Steve are very easy to work with and their management company is top notch.
We had some great seafood dinners at Red's on Pine Island, golfed at Royal Tee Golf Course, took a "Good Time Cruise" to watch the dolphins, and attended the Jazz Concert at Tarpin Point.
We hope to return in the future. Thanks Pam and Steve for a wonderful first time experience renting a house.

Excellent Vacation Home !!!

The home was great in every aspect. Very clean, everything you need
is at your disposal. The pool was the main spot for us.Our grandaughter
learned how to swim this week. The house is close to shopping and attraction's. We fished every morning ( blue gill, bass, pan fish ) and
as mention in other reviews, plenty of wild life to watch. We would use
again when we visit Florida again. Pam & Steve were very easy to deal with. Made everything very comfortable. Would highly recomend to
everyone. Best part we able to bring our pet ( Rex ).

Another Great Vacation!

We have just had our third trip to Villa Mohave, and this one was the best so far. The weather was superb, we spent many happy hours cooling off and playing 'pool basketball' in the lovely pool. It was
great to sit by the lake watching fish eagles swooping down to get food for their young (we don't see them too often in the UK)
We also saw Roseate Spoonbills up close, which were just beautiful.
The house is immaculate as ever, it was like we had never been away,
and because we had stayed before, we settled in as soon as we walked through the door -and we knew where everything was!
Pam and Steve are an absolute pleasure to do business with,
booking was as simple as ever and our deposit was returned
to us within days of returning home as always.
We are now back in Wales,already looking forward to our next
Florida vacation!

Beautiful Home

This is such a clean, lovely and comfortable home. The nieghborhood is quiet; restaurants, golf, shopping are a short drive. The lake adds to the experience; you can look at it while in the pool. Lots of wildlife; herons, turtles, fish jumping, egrets, pelicans and gulls. The kitchen is well equiped and the towels are luxurious (four star quality). We loved staying here and look forward to another visit.
Another plus is the house manager. He is such a gentleman and he was a pleasure to visit with while checking the pool.
