This is the first review I've ever done, but the Mountain Belle cabin is well worth the effort. My husband and I agreed that it was the best place we've ever spent the night in.
Not for the faint of heart or someone who wants room service, this cabin requires four wheel drive to get to and has no electricity other than solar powered lights and an indoor RV toilet. But, oh, the views and connection with nature it has! It is completely off the beaten path though only two miles from the highway. On a hike, we saw elk and other wildlife. The cabin itself had wrap around windows, so we went to bed seeing the multitude of stars and woke up seeing the surrounding mountains. A creek runs just down the mountain a little ways.
The cabin itself was beautiful, comfortable and clean - wood stove, fully stocked wood pile, kitchen with all the dishes and cookware you would need. The owners were great to work with, and the price was spectacular compared to the other cabins in the area.
This was the highlight of our trip!
