Located at 350 feet elevation overlooking Kealakekua Bay, on a private road on 5 1/2 acres. 1-minute drive (or 15-minute stroll) to and from the water. Listen to the waves rock you to sleep and carry you through the day. This is truly an open-air island-style dream home and it sits on one of the most magical locations in this area, or that you will find anywhere in these island. A place for people who love being truly connected to nature. Kayak to Captain Cook Monument for great snorkeling. Four miles south is Honaunau Bay, a National Historical Park and place of worship. Caretakers are on site to tend to all gardens and any maintenance issues. The estate is set up to host a variety of configurations for small and large groups. The property is often used for large groups (reunions, weddings, retreats) and can accommodate up to 15 overnight guests. Individuals and groups less than 10 can also be accommodated.

  • In addition to the bedrooms listed, we have several other beds on lanais and in gazebos with mosquito nets. These are often the most favored beds in the house! Although we have enough beds to sleep far more than 16 people, we prefer to keep the number to a limit allowing people some flexibility in their sleeping accommodations and a comfortable experience for our guests. The estate is set up to host a variety of configurations for small and large groups. The property is often used for large groups (reunions, weddings, retreats) and can accommodate up to 16 overnight guests. For Groups of 10 or more the main house, living room with kitchen and lanai dining area is available. Individuals and groups less than 10 can also be accommodated. We can rent one or more of the studios to singles or a couple for example. Contact us with your needs and we will do everything we can to make Whale Song your Sanctuary.
