|Minimum Stay||2 nights|
Our newly renovated and well-equipped cabin sits at the end of a dead-end road on three secluded acres including rolling lawn, woodlands, and a pretty pond. You probably won't hear another car all weekend. Yet we are less than five miles from Woodstock, the cultural center of the Catskills, with its galleries, theaters, festivals, restaurants, concerts, and boutiques.
Maybe you won't get back in your car for your entire stay - you can sit on one of our large decks, or screened-in porch, or soak in the hot tub, and watch deer, wild turkey, (and maybe even a bear) stroll by. Or walk across the road for a hike on hundreds of acres of public land. In the winter, build a fire in the wood stove, or go sledding down our own hill.
Or you might use our home as a comfortable base for all the cultural and recreational activities available in the area - hiking, rafting, skiing, swimming holes, are all nearby.
Wi-fi included. See link below for dozens of more photos.
Lovingly renovated by an artist, and filled with art, the house features new bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen, and tons of outdoor deck space.
We're less than two hours from the George Washington Bridge - and there's even a Trailways bus stop about two miles from the house. But once you turn into our driveway, you are in another world of quiet and relaxation.

It took me some time to write a review but now, just think how much my family, friends and I enjoyed our stay for a New Year from December 31, 2014 to January 3, 2015 that I am writing it on first Spring days!!!)))
The owners are very considerate and think about those who are planning to stay in their house. very clean, kitchen well equipped, enough space, all rooms separate; view is beautiful! one can enjoy the stay there at any season of the year.
Thanks a lot!!! Looking forward to return to the cabin!
This was a beautiful home with a perfect layout for 8 adults to enjoy a winter getaway. The house had everything that we needed, including a woodstove that kept the place toasty even when the temps outside went below zero. The kitchen seems to have been recently done, with a great layout and all the pots and pans you'll need. Couldn't be happier with this home and I imagine it would be just as beautiful in the summer as it was covered in snow. Michael was very easy to work with and provides detailed instructions for everything so there's nothing to worry about at all. Highly recommend.
We had a great time here. Beautiful. Felt outdoorsy, somewhat rustic (in a positive way), and also homey inside. Snow-covered for us. The fire was great and we loved the ambiance. Also loved the hot tub. Great retreat, thanks!
My family was very pleased with this cabin. It is well-kept, welcoming and has all the amenities one could need. The owners had everything available for our use, down to the soap in the bathrooms!!
During the booking process, the owners were very responsive.
Will definitely book again!!
Back in March, we rented this house as a surprise for my Dad's 60th birthday and we couldn't have been more pleased. It is very secluded, surrounded by trees, and extremely peaceful. The inside is cozy and clean, and was a perfect size for three couples and two children--we could have even fit another couple. The house is also located conveniently close to the town of Woodstock, making it easy to go into town if you are too tired to cook. Close to wonderful hiking trails. As a now Chicagoan who grew up on the east coast, I did not want to leave this place!!
The owner was responsive and friendly, and everything with booking went smoothly. We loved it so much that I just looked to see if it was available again for Christmas, but am not surprised that it's booked! This house is a gem!
Michael gave us great directions on the house and it was easy to come in and close out. In addition to that, he was very responsive and great to work with. The cabin and surrounding property was amazing. The house was in tip top form and the grill was easy to use.
I would thoroughly recommend this cabin to anyone.
