Our vacation home is located in the southeast area of the island in a very quiet neighborhood next to Mackle Park (1 mile walking-trail around lake) and just a 5-min drive to the gorgeous shelling beaches, shops, and restaurants. The house has recently been updated with beautiful tile flooring throughout the house, carpet in the bedrooms, all new furniture, and ceiling fans in all bedrooms and family room. The master bedroom has its own shower room, walk-in closet, cable TV/VCR, and sliding doors opening onto the pool area. The guest bedroom has a walk in closet, the twin bedroom a build-in closet. Both offer lots of drawer space and share a guest bathroom. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped. It is surrounded by an informal family room and dining area, which both have access to the pool through sliding doors. The lanai has plenty of seating and total privacy for entertaining your family and friends around the pool.

Activities on Marco Island: Outdoor recreation is the main attraction on Marco Island. Four miles of a sugar sand shore stretch out in front of beautiful resorts, condominiums and parks. Whether you desire a leisurely stroll or a shelling adventure, the beach is always inviting. Simply building sand castles is still a favourite pastime! Water sport activities lead the list of fun things to do while enjoying the sand and surf. The Island is truly renowned for its incredible boating, shelling and fishing (deep-sea & backwater). This is a fisherman’s paradise!

Pool area Pelican House: The large lanai has plenty of seating and total privacy for entertaining your family and friends around the pool. It is furnished with two tables, eight chairs, and three sun loungers. A part of the Pool area (but not the pool) is covered, a ceiling fan provides additional relief from the hot Florida sun. In the mornings you can enjoy beautiful sunrises from the pool deck and sometimes you can also watch the sand howls, which are nesting on the lot behind the house.

Golf: With more than 1,200 golf courses state-wide, Florida is fast earning the reputation of being the golf capital of the world. And no wonder. The fine weather, stunning landscapes, enticing wildlife and superbly crafted courses make golf here a memorable experience. In the Naples/ Marco Island area alone you can choose from about 60 golf courses. A 36-whole course and two 18-whole public courses can be reached within a 20 min drive.

„Es hat uns so gut bei Ihnen im Haus gefallen, dass wir dieses gerne wieder besuchen würden im Jahr 2006. Das Haus und die Lage (der See ist schön zum Laufen und der Tiger Tail Beach ist auch nicht weit weg) ist für uns einfach ideal. Einmal gesehen und nichts anderes mehr machen wollen (Urlaub). Wir haben schon viele Urlaube hinter uns aber dies war unser schönster.“ Familie Mühlen aus Braunschweig.

Wir waren 3 wunderschöne Wochen in Ihrem Haus und haben die Zeit genossen.Waren traurig als wir abreisen mussten, aber wir kommen ja bald wieder. Nun zählen wir die Wochen und es sind gerade noch 7 Wochen oder 53 Tage bis wir wieder Ihr schönes Haus beziehen.
Vielen Dank, dass alles so toll geklappt hat.
