Step out of bed and walk into the clear gin blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. Snail’s Pace is a romantic, private hideaway on the beautiful south shore of Providenciales. Turtle Tail is an upscale residential area. This lovely beach house is 30 feet from the water’s edge where a small swimming cove has been carved into the iron shore with easy sand entry into the sea. Ninety-five percent of the time you and your guests will be the only ones in the water.

Snail’s Pace is a charming two-bedroom, two-bathroom house that has been completely renovated and tastefully furnished. Each bedroom has it’s own bathroom and flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a separate entrance and lockout. Look out at the ocean while you use the fully equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances including dishwasher. Lounge or take a nap on the shaded deck that runs the length of the house. Air-conditioning and internet access are provided. A/C is metered seperately.

Snail’s Pace can be rented for parties of 1-4 adults. Enjoy all the comforts of home with an incredible view. The sun and stars await you. Please contact us for availability.

A treasure - absolutely wonderful

Let me start by saying that six months ago my husband and I rented a VRBO in Providenciales that was three times the size and three times the price and we HATED it. We enjoyed the island but never really relaxed for reasons that don't belong here. We decided we deserved a redo as did the island. I began the search for something that better suited us as soon as we got home. On our last trip we were enchanted by Turtle Tail so I focused on that area. Although the listing for Snail's Pace doesn't quite do it justice, it felt right and we booked it. From the beginning I dealt with Jan through e-mail. Not only was she super helpful and a wealth of information, I liked her before I met her.

We arrived late on a Friday night but Jan had asked for our flight information in advance and she was there to greet us. She was warm and friendly and inviting. We had a quick orientation and she was gone. We woke up in the morning to the view in the photos - there was no exaggeration, in fact, I would say the opposite, it was breathtaking. It takes a certain something to feel at home in someone elses home but we fell right into it. The property is everything it is advertised to be and quite a bit more. We completed a kitchen remodel prior to our trip so could probably appreciate the modern kitchen more than most. It had everything. We played Scrabble on the porch and walked 30 feet to our own private beach to swim daily. Caicos Adventures is 5 minutes away and I had a great day of scuba diving with them. We loved our stay at Snail's Pace and will return every year for as long as the owner is willing to rent it. It might seem modest, but it has a great energy to it and it has everything you could possibly want.

The house, the grounds, the process and the people.....all more than we could have hoped for. This was one of the best vacations we have ever had and we owe it largely to how comfortable we were and to what a great place we had to return to (or stay in) every night.

Best Beach in Provo!

We could not get over the amazing beauty of this perfect beach get away! The rooms are beautifully appointed and we had everything we need to cook breakfasts, lunches, Caribbean dinners, and all the frozen drinks we could imagine! We fell asleep to the sound of the gentle ocean waves and woke up with a view so turquoise it was unbelievable!

The beach may be small in comparison to some of the large strands of sand, but it is all yours! Barely a neighbor in sight and you can walk over 200 yards out with the pool-like water only hitting your waist (I'm only 5'2''). Hammocks, beach chairs, beach towels, and guide books all provided! And the caretakers are just next door for any questions.

This is the most amazing beach retreat we've ever had! I can't recommend this place more highly! If you're going to Provo you MUST stay here!

Caicos Adventures diving operation docks less than 5 minutes from the house, which made for smooth and easy mornings. And the dives were incredible! Great dive masters, awesome captain, and nothing but fun under the sea!

We highly recommend a trip to the Infinity Bar, Lounge, and Anacaona at the Grace Bay Resort, as well as dinner at Grace's Cottage. All the lunch places on Grace Bay are run of the mill, but get the job done. Don't expect any service at Osoliel and ask the locals where to find fresh fish - only local fisherman sell fish in the city. Grocery stores are plentiful and very American.

Rent a car if you'd like to go out at all, but you could spend your entire trip enjoying this perfect beach retreat and feel completely fulfilled! Loved you snails pace!!
