Light-filled open Victorian is furnished with an eclectic mix of modern and antique furniture. Bedroom options include a queen bed, a full size futon with feather bed and a room with two twin size beds is also available. Wireless Internet connection throughout the house, speakers for your iPod, fully equipped kitchen stocked with all your culinary essentials plus charcoal grill.

Snuggle in for the evening to play board games or watch movies, hang out on the porch or walk just a couple of minutes to Warren Street to try one of the great restaurants available.

Amenities include: 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths. Queen bed, Full futon w/featherbed, two twin beds, air mattress available. Wi-Fi, iPod speakers, fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge, gas stove/oven, toaster oven, coffee/espresso maker, bean grinder, stainless steel work island, tons of cookbooks and cooking paraphernalia. Washer and dryer, two bicycles, front and back porches with seating. All dishes, 300+ count linens and towels included. Window A/C and fans.

Car: recommended

Guests can visit Rhinebeck, Hyde Park, Woodstock, Tanglewood and Albany, or make a day trip through the many small towns in the area. Hudson is a great base for travels to all that the Hudson Valley, Catskills and Berkshire Mountains have to offer. Just 2+ hours from NYC.

Fantastic weekend retreat!

A friend and I just returned from a long weekend in this wonderful Hudson home. The house is lovely and comfortable, and we both look forward to returning. The cozy home has all the amenities you would need, and the location is great! We walked around Hudson, tried some great local cuisine, and also took day trips to Beacon, Red Hook, and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend!

Winter Weekend

This house was an absolute dream! Coming from Brooklyn in an old run down 2 BR apartment it was like heaven. Bright and airy yet warm and inviting. Close enough to Warren to walk or take a quick $3.00 (!!) cab ride. Our two daughters, 9 and 6, loved it so much they didn't want to leave. Beautiful refurbished Victorian with lots of charm. And I love the back staircase from the kitchen to the bedrooms! It was really cold the weekend we visited but we didn't mind because the house was warm and cozy just like home. Will definitely stay here again!

Thanksgiving in Hudson

What a great house to spend a family gathering in beautiful Hudson! We had a perfect Holiday weekend here, cooking, eating, relaxing and seeing the town and nearby attractions. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We had everything we needed to make a Thanksgiving dinner for 5. The dining room was very roomie and perfect for a big meal. The town of Hudson was a very short walk away. We also visited a painters house, and a nearby waterfall. All-in-all, we had an excellent time and will always have such fond memories of our stay here!

For a small town getaway with a big town feel, this Hudson house was perfect. It is accurately described and photographed and the host couple were accommodating in every way. They provided information about the town and surrounding areas including local sites of interest, restaurants, farmers markets and seasonal events. No guidebook needed!

Along with an extremely well-equipped kitchen, there is an extensive library of culinary art books, fine art and literature and stacks of magazines to browse through. I enjoyed reading on the front and back porches most days.

It is super clean and efficiently supplied with all the things you would need for a comfortable and stylish long-term stay.

Colleen and Alon have my full recommendation.

A few friends and I stayed here at the end of July 2011 while we were in town for an art fair. It is such a gorgeous house. Very, very clean, definitely not cluttered, well designed, super comfortable. Big kitchen with everything you could want. Way more space than we needed. Front porch, back porch. We had a bunch of stuff to do in Hudson during our weekend, but we could hardly peel ourselves away from the comfort and great vibe in this home! Host was fantastic and left a nice binder of materials for what to do in Hudson.
