Big family gathering

We are a large family spread through out CA and NV and rent large homes frequently for get togethers. We've rented homes thru VRBO in Las Vegas and Monterey to name a few and none of those homes were set-up as well as the Donner House for a large group. The kitchen is a gem for cooking and serving for a large group and loved the 2 coffee makers! Everyone in our group was impressed with the layout of the house: privacy for sleeping but an outstanding living room, dining room, kitchen for group activities. Loved to bunk room for our younger family members . We were there in the snow so could not take advantage of being right across from West End Beach, but we could imagine how wonderful it would be to just walk across the street to hit the beach. Easy access for all - our Northern CA families loved the quick access off Hwy 80 and did not miss the traffic and congestion trying to get around Lake Tahoe. Great house for larger groups and we are certainly hoping to return again!
