Fall Foilage - You're Going To Love It Here!: You need go no farther than the back deck of your 'home away' to see the most breathtaking foliage views but you may want to take a road trip on the Lakes Loop; 134 miles of scenic shores of Lake Winnipesaukee and visit the timeless villages, farmlands, green forests, soaring mountains sparkling rivers, lakes and ponds. Other attractions during this Harvest Season are the Farmers Markets, pick your own Apples, hayrides for the kids and much more. Don't forget to look for the covered bridges, affectionately called 'kissing bridges' throughout the state. Tours are available for many attractions. Bring your fishing poles, swimming gear and golf clubs.
Accommodations : This spacious home includes 2 bedrooms, 1 w/king and 1 w/dbl. bed, 1full and 1/2 bath. Plus a bonus 'getaway' suite w/1 queen bed, 1 futon, bathroom w/shower and kitchenette w/refrig, stove & TV. The master bedroom, LR & suite overlook Hermit Lake. Living Room seats 6-8 comfortably and has 42'' plasma TV/DVD. The dining room seats 8 comfortably. The kitchen is full size with granite countertops, bar seating and will include coffee and condiments. Washer/dryer available. Wood stove is stocked with wood for the chilly nights. Includes Heat/AC, outdoor gas grill and firepit. Large deck and upper & lower decks for privacy & Lake viewing. Internet available. Hermit Lake is pristine and a haven for fisherman and wildlife enthusiasts. There are many small boats and kayaks on the Lake with all enjoying serene and quiet moments. 10HP limit. Loons are commonly found each year on Hermit Lake & residents wait patiently for their new babies to arrive. (2 Kayaks will be available for your use).
