Additional information about rental rates

  • Rates based on Double Occupancy, $10/day extra per extra person. Maximum occupancy is 4 people.
  • Street Parking - $5/day, should be booked in advance to ensure availability.

    All bookings have to be Paid in Full prior to arrival.
    For stays of a week or more, 2 installments can be made prior to arrival, if booked a month in advance, and must be Paid in Full.
  • Damage/Reservation Deposit- A damage/reservation deposit of 10%/week is required. This must be received within five (5) days of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is not applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided all provisions are met, which are outlined in the booking agreement.

Craven Cove offers a very comfortable & modern, 2 level, 1-Bedroom apartment which includes: on main floor- a cozy living room with TV, VHS/DVD recorder, basic cable, walk out to the patio and backyard; full kitchen with dining counter top; and the den for your office needs, it also faces the front patio. The house is equipped with high-speed wireless internet. On the lower level: a warm luxurious bedroom with a large window looking out to the backyard and blue sky. It has a majestic king size bed, TV and electric fireplace; the marble bathroom is fully stocked with deluxe amenities, the bathroom also includes a washer and dryer for your laundry needs.

Craven Cove is a short walk to restaurants, a cinema, a racetrack, shopping and the beach/ yacht club. The Cove is 10 kms from the downtown Toronto core, and is close to many attractions: CN Tower, Rogers Centre, Ontario Place, Harbour Front, AGO, ROM, Casa Loma, Eaton Centre Mall, Restaurants, Theaters etc. Public transportation-TTC access is a block away & 10 minutes to the subway station. HWY access: the house is close to the Gardiner, Don Valley, Lakeshore and QEW. The Beaches is a popular tourist destination due to its trendy neighborhood, and many festivals and activities. The Beaches is known for the Boardwalk, which is on the perimeter of Lake Ontario shoreline. There are 3 beaches that are connected through the Lake Ontario shoreline-Ashbridges, Kew and Cherry beach.

This is a Non-Smoking house. Check in 3pm and check out by 11am. Craven Cove is a great alternative from a hotel, at a fraction of the cost! We are pleased to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!

The Cove was Home

We had never been to Toronto and weren't sure what would be the best situation as far as accommodations for a week-long stay for four people. Looking at the Craven Cove listing, it almost seemed to good to be true: a cute, 1 bedroom+ apartment with amenities for a price well below hotel costs? Seemed a stretch, but we took a flyer. And, good thing we did! Our stay at the Cove was absolutely lovely. The apartment is actually more spacious than advertised. We slept 4 comfortably (!) and everyone had their own room. The master bedroom downstairs is large and the king size bed is luxurious. The front office is a nice, proper room. The back patio is a lovely place to sit outside and enjoy a cup of tea. The kitchen and the washer/dryer were great for a week stay. Really felt like a proper home away from home. The neighborhood is super cute and super quiet. Parking is easy if you are driving. And its a trolley ride away from wherever you want to go in town if you are not. To boot, Roxanne is super sweet and helpful. We will be returning to Toronto in the nearish future, and if it is available, there is no question that we will make our lodging at Craven Cove.

A Haven on Craven.

My 6 days at Craven Cove were just wonderful. The apartment is comfortable, roomy and spotless. The location is great. It's very convenient in that there is excellent public transportation nearby and it's also comfortably close to the wonderful "Beaches" area of Toronto where there are lots of great restaurants, interesting shops and of course the beautiful boardwalk along the lake.
Roxanne is a very helpful and welcoming proprietor and I have already booked my next stay at her property.

Truly a home away.

Having a place to stay that I feel completely comfortable in is very important to me. Craven Cove was even more than I expected. The space was cozy and yet roomy. The furnishings were wonderful and beautiful. There was even an office space to set up my work while I was there. Having a back deck and patio area allowed me to have a quiet space to escape the city when I wanted. Yet the location was excellent for getting everywhere I needed or wanted to go. Steps from shopping and restaurants in the Beaches area and just steps from the Queen street streetcar made this the ideal location for my stay. The owner of the property made me feel welcome from the first contact to the final goodbye. I look forward to staying again in a month when I return to Toronto and in the future. I can not say enough good things about the home and the owner and highly recommend them to others.

Perfect Couples Getaway

My wife and I had planned a Toronto vacation expecting to pay $150-$200/night for a hotel room. We found so much more at Craven Cove, for far less! The condo is wonderfully laid out with a full-service kitchen and breakfast bar, comfortable living room and patio. The bedroom is large and private, with the bathroom just off it. The pictures don't do Craven Cove justice. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home.

Craven Cove isn't quite 'downtown', but we found out quickly that it's directly on the Queen St. trolley line, which can get you just about anywhere you need. And, for those of us in cities without trolleys, we enjoyed the novelty!

The property owner was a dutiful and welcoming host. She was available when needed, and flexible with our slightly irregular travel plans.

My wife and I are already looking at 2010 and planning another Toronto trip, and Craven Cove will be our first choice.
