We've had visitors from the U.S., Canada, the UK and Europe with many returning year after year. Our rates are reasonable - our location is perfect for what the beach and the intercoastal waterway both have to offer and we're sure you'll enjoy your stay here!
Thanks for finding this “gem” for us to experience. Best location on the island! Rented a paddle board and paddled many days off the little beach in front. Enjoyed watching the dolphins, birds and even saw a manatee. Loved the proximity to the beach & walked to the nearby restaurant for some waterfront dinners. We’ll be back. Apr 2014
Enjoyed 9 wonderful days in your great condo! Spent time watching nature off the dock and dolphins. The beach access right across the street was awesome! May 2014
What a perfect location! Loved sitting on the dock watching the boats go by, the birds & even dolphins. The beach was so close – our granddaughters loved it – using the boogey boards provided, collecting shells & favorite ritual of jumping the waves at sunset. May 2014
Great views! The kids loved fishing, playing at the beach & swimming in the pool. We loved sitting on the balcony & sightseeing. Thanks for providing affordable accommodations. June 2014
We loved the view from the balcony – beautiful. The kids loved seeing all the nature and of course being at the beach. June 2014
It has been so much fun and the condo is awesome! Thanks for the memories! We hope to come back. July 2014
Your condo exceeded everything we were looking for. We will definitely be back. July 2014
We enjoyed this vacation so much! We were able to see so much wildlife here – dolphins, birds and many kinds of fish. This is such an amazing location, close to so many shops and great restaurants! We can’t wait to come back! Aug.2014
We really enjoyed our time here. Love the area. There is no doubt we will be back. It’s just a wonderful place to be. We did see dolphins every day and the sunsets are beautiful. Aug.2014
We had a wonderful vacation here. The condo was perfect for our family of 6. Our boys caught lots of fish off the dock and they loved the pool. Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven with our family. Aug.
Another great holiday here at your lovely condo. We never tire of just sitting watching the boats, dolphins , birds. We love this area, very quiet and can just get on the trolley bus and go to John's Pass or Clearwater Beach for tourist attractions. Ate mostly at the nearby restaurant can walk to and love the food there. Hope to get back here as soon as we can. Sept.2014
We enjoyed our stay at Sharon & Ed's condo. It truly was a vacation paradise. The views from the balcony are beautiful and the condo was equipped with everything that you would need. A very memorable vacation and would highly recommend. Can't wait to come back.
Absolutely loved staying at this condo for three weeks. There was everything we needed, and so much more. Rooms spacious, beds comfortable, kitchen very well equipped. And the view is to die for. We read other reviews and also the condo 'guest book', and most people had said that they'd seen dolphins from the back balcony, but we saw so much more, and some!
Our second night here we heard a rustling in the palm tree next to the balcony and when we turned around there was a raccoon climbing up, don't know who was more shocked, him or us!
Then on the first Tues night I saw a black shape swimming along the edge of the water and, after focusing our eyes, to our amazement saw a large sea otter climb out onto the boat slipway, followed by another and then another! A whole family of sea otters, fantastic. They stayed quite a while, just messing about along the shoreline.
The second week into our holiday we then saw a manatee near the boat dock, so we rushed down with video and camera in hand to film it and while we were standing on the dock a huge ray swam underneath us, awesome!
The third week of the holiday we saw a manatee with her baby swimming really close to the beach near the dock, she stayed for ages. We went down to the dock to get closer and she came right up close to us, the best sight I've ever seen.
We also dolphins almost every day and of course all the wonderful birds fishing for their breakfast. We took fishing rods and also used the rod provided (thank you to whoever left it). I caught my first big catfish on it. Hubby caught lots of small fish and then, what we later found out to be, a sheepshead (with human teeth!). Eventually it bit through the line and he couldn't land it (thank goodness).
The beach, just across the blvd is the best beach we've ever been to (and we've been to various beaches around the world), but I can honestly say that Indian Shores is our favourite.
Lots of good restaurants nearby and to get out and about, just hop on a beach trolley to either John's Pass or Clearwater, plenty to see and do. We didn't need to hire a car.
This was my third time to Indian Shores having been in 1983 and 2009 and it hasn't changed much in 30 yrs, which is why I love it so much.
Needless to say, as soon as we got home, we booked up again for 3 weeks next year.
Thanks Sharon and Ed for sharing your fantastic condo with us. We are coming back, and that's a promise!

We just got back from spending a week at this great condo. It is just like the pictures with lots of room, clean and a beautiful view. The condo is in a quieter area by the gulf with a two lane road to cross. The condo has so much to offer: w/d, a/c, towels, kitchen equipment, books to read, movies, beach chairs, umbrellas, Wi-Fi, outside grill, balcony and more. The condo faces the intercoastal where a lot of activity takes place. (We even spotted some dolphins.) Across the street is a beautiful beach with plenty of room. There is two car parking. The price is great. There is so much to do in the area including the free botanical gardens/heritage village and seabird sanctuary near by. Busch gardens is a short drive away in Tampa or you could visit Clearwater Aquarium, the home of "Winter" the dolphin. The owners supplied us with lots of information about the area and condo itself, both before our trip and even more at the condo itself. The only complaint we initially had was the seemingly thin ceilings, as we could hear upstairs neighbors at all hours of the night. However, Sharon was great. She called to see how we were upon arrival and later cleared up the noise situation. (The upstairs didn't realize that we could hear them all night and apologized.) The day after, the noise stopped and we slept great the rest of our vacation. All in all, we had a wonderful time. My husband was very impressed by the place and said that this was one of his top vacations ever. We plan to recommend this condo to family that frequents the area as well. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place.
Nice quiet place to stay. Great location in the middle of everything . The weather wasn't the best ,but that is mother nature. Great place for children also we had our 3 year old daughter with us she loved it.
Our stay was perfect! My family and myself loved that we could be on the water constantly either at the beach or outside at the fishing dock. Our children loved when the tide would go out and the little crabs would run around near the dock. I especially loved the Forth of July fireworks displays all along the beach that could be seen for miles! The neighbors were very nice also. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The only problem with this rental was when I went to book again for 2013 it was full :).I'm sure everyone who stays here will be able to feel as at home as we did. Many thanks to Sharon and Ed for sharing their wonderful home with us.
We arrived and everything was just like the pictures depicted. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The condo is spacious and quiet. Located near plenty of attractions (we went to Busch Gardens), shopping centers, restaurants, bait shops, the dog track, boat rentals and the beach is just accross the street. We went fishing off the pier in the back and caught some smaller fish, had we fished more I believe we would have caught a keeper. The condo has a large master bedroom with bath (with a jacuzzi tub), a smaller guest bedroom and a large kitchen also. We are planning on staying there again when we return to Pinellas county Florida. There are plenty of maps and pamphlets provided about the area. One day we rented a boat from a wonderful place just a couple of blocks down the street. This was a GREAT place for the money I would recomend it to everyone.
Indian Shores is located on the beautiful Gulf Beaches halfway between Clearwater Beach and St. Pete's Beach and offers an abundance of beach and water activities, golfing, fishing, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Clearwater Beach and nearby John's Pass Village at Maderia Beach are popular tourist spots offering jet skiing, parasailing, boating, fishing, and numerous sightseeing, casino, dinner and fun cruises. Nearby Busch Gardens is just across Tampa Bay and Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World are within a 90 minute drive.
