Nice Views But

We have rented many units the the Palm Springs area and this unit rates on the bottom of the list. There were 2 couples renting this unit and from the beginning there were alot of rules & regulations including payment. And there was a security deposit on top.
The unit was ok except for a few things: Beds are hard, TV is old, the guest bathroom was dirty, took awhile to get the internet working, bedroom furniture very old, and there is a train that shakes the unit. (we were not told about that)
The good things: View of the golf course, use of the gold cart.
Disturbing is that it took over 2 weeks and many emails and phone calls to get our security deposit back.
I will not rent from this owner again.
Owner's Response: Our unit is cleaned professionally by an experienced housekeeper who cleans many units at Palm Valley and this is the first complaint we have had. In December we purchased a 40 inch LED flat screen television for the unit so the old TV has been replaced. I am sorry you found the beds uncomfortable as they are high quality mattresses. Prior comments about the unit have been very positive and we often have repeat renters, which is a sign of a very nice unit. We attempted to contact the renters via email regarding the return of their deposit with no response. We were surprised to return from our trip to find aggressive messages regarding the deposit return. Rest assured, my husband and I are very honest people and professionals in the field of law and finance. We take pride in our home and feel badly that our tenant did not enjoy their stay.
