July 4th weekend stay

I stayed here with my girlfriend and son during July 4th weekend and we had a great time! It was peaceful with a hot tub just outside the front door in a private area. We used the kitchen to buy groceries for the fridge and cooked breakfast daily, saving money on our vacation. The entire house was very clean and comfortable, we slept well in the bedrooms, the bathroom was nice and the owner even had a new front-loading washer and dryer with laundry soap available for us to clean some of our own wet towels after using the hot tub. The owner supplied the linens, towels, pots/pans, silverware, toaster, microwave. I can't really think of anything that we needed to bring except to purchase some groceries to eat or cook with.
The digital cable TV had plenty of channels, including ESPN sports in HD on the 47'' screen!
Its located between Gwinn and Marquette, about 10 minutes from Sawyer International Airport. We visited both towns and even made a drive up to Big Bay, Negaunee and Ishpeming. Its about 2 miles off of a state road near an old air force base, on the outside, most of the homes look similar, but this house definitely stood out on the inside!
We drove maybe 5 minutes to Gwinn, they have a grocery store, gas station, etc. Its maybe a 20-minute drive to Marquette, but its well worth the drive to stay there.
The interior has some beautiful glossy wood designs, including the bed frames, family room coffee table and bar stools. The walls are decorated with hunter-themed trophies. There are two baseball diamonds around the corner and a park within a 1/2 mile walk away.
We were in town visiting from North Carolina, but if we were in the area again, we'd definitely recommend staying here again, the owner was friendly and it was very hassle-free!
