Condo SoCo In The Heart & Soul Of Austin

We stayed here for a weekend event at McCombs business school and loved it. There is bus access right outside the community with direct service into downtown/university area. The condo was kept clean and had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend stay. We will definitely return.

Very convenient location - easy to get downtown & to restaurants. Very quiet, secure development; the few tenants we saw were pleasant. Pool looked inviting, but unfortunately we were too busy to partake.

Be aware that there is no landline in the unit - Tim was very accommodating and lent us a cell phone to use for emergencies. Wifi worked perfectly.

Being from Colorado, we weren't prepared for the need to seal up all of our food and had an ant invasion which was easily dealt with but necessitated our throwing out a few items. We were much more careful after that...

All in all, a fine experience & a nice exposure to Austin, TX.

This place is located just south of all the action on South Congress making it easy walking distance to great restaurants and shops, cheap taxi fare to downtown and 6th street, while being removed from the hustle and bustle so it is also quiet. We visited over Thanksgiving holiday, so it was too cold to enjoy the pool, but it would be terrific in the summer time, as the pool is just down below the apartment. For a few days, it was the perfect thing for us. Economical, and comfortable. If you plan to do any cooking, the kitchen is well equipped with necessary utensils, which we found to be especially nice.

Upon arrival, we did not find the key in its designated spot, and we had to wait for the housekeeper to come let us in. That seemed to be the thoughtlessness of the previous tenant however and we did not wait long before we had access.

All in all, this is a decent place, which we recommend. We would definitely consider staying here again!
