Attractions:
Parc Safari is just across the Lake in Quebec and has rare white tigers and an amusement park. You can get really close to the animals and they let your kids feed the animals from the tailgate.
Ausable Chasm is a Ferry ride away from Burlington and makes a great day trip with white water tubing for all ages.
Bike trails circumnavigate the whole of Lake Champlain and the 26 mile rail trail originates at nearby St Albans and will even connect you with the Quebec bike trail system.
Sail the lake and visit the state conservation area with the included Sunfish or your own boat and our boat lift and dock.
Jay Peak and Stowe are also worth a visit.
Nice restaurants are in St Albans so make sure to visit Mimos and the drive in movie theater.
18 Hole golf course within 5 miles
Burlington has one of the nicest down towns anywhere with brick walkways, restaurants and shopping. It is a college town so there is always a lot going on.
Canada and Montreal:
The house is within 2 miles of the border with Quebec so remember to bring your passports and enjoy some french cuisine.
Montreal is about 50 minutes drive away and has many attractions including underground shopping the science museum and the Biodome and Insectarium etc.
Quebec city:
For a romantic getaway stay a night or two in Quebec city it is not that close but you may never stay closer to such an historic city
Ski:
Jay Peak and the whole ski complex at Stowe are all within an hours drive.
Golf:
18 Hole Golf Course 15 minutes away in Swanton.
