We stayed at the Duplex on 9th recently for a week spent in the LA area. The property was exactly as listed and in an excellent area/neighborhood with lots of great (close) restaurants and shopping. Also a very short drive to the tourist stuff to do in LA.

The Duplex was clean and well maintained. We had a glitch with the washing machine not being available the week we were there, however, the owners were very responsive and gracious about helping to make alternate arrangements. They were truly apologetic for this minor hick-up; thus showing they really care about their guests satisfaction while staying at their property.

We will definitely stay here again if/when back in the area and would definitely recommend the Duplex on 9th to any and all.

Duplex on 9th is a gem!

We stayed here for 2 nights with 3 adults and I child for a brief vacation. The duplex is well maintained, very clean, spacious and airy. The photos don't do it justice! The owner was easy to work with and very helpful during the booking process, providing us with spot on directions, neighborhood information etc. We enjoyed the location as it was convenient to get around to do our 'tourist' things. I'd recommend staying here if you need a comfortable, convenient, quiet place admist the hustle and bustle of LA.

*Onsite parking is a major plus*

Love the place!

It was our first time renting an apartment for vacation and it was perfect. Really nice house, very clean, fully equipped kitchen, garage. Location was very nice also, close to everything we wanted to see. Neighborhood is quiet and lovely. Didn't have any problems on the property, everything worked fine. All and all it was a very pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend this duplex and would stay again next time I'm in Los Angeles.

The duplex on 9th is a great place to stay. James and Lori are always available to contact at anytime as is Manuela the housekeeper. The actual property is extremely spacious, has been excellently equipped and it is spotless with an abundance of clean towels and linens [which are changed every week too]. Little touches like new soaps, printer cartridge and paper for the printer just make it extra special. The location is very convenient and the inclusion of car parking spot is a great bonus. I was here on business for a month and also had my husband and toddler join me for a vacation - the property met all of our needs.I can't fault the duplex in anyway and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Los Angeles. Congratulations James and Lori - you run a fantastic place! :)

Very nice property

The property was very nice, and it worked well for our family of four (two adults/two children). It is spacious, well equipped, well maintained, and centrally located. Manuela was very responsive to a few concerns we had -- fire alarm battery started beeping at 3:00 a.m. (she fixed the next day), the opener for garage door was not working (this was fixed as well), and burned out kitchen light. I would certainly recommend this property and we will stay here again on our next visit to Los Angeles!

My husband and I chose the location because a) it was near my son who recently had a child and b) it looked fantastic from the online pictures and reviews. We were happy to report the claims and images didn't lie!

The entire process for our 12 day stay was easy and painless. Located near a handful of restaurants and coffee shops, it is quiet but centrally located in the large urban area of LA. Parking and enclosed garage made storing rental car easy. The inside was spotless, with a large washer/dryer to clean items and a kitchen big enough to prep a nice meal. Nothing huge but certainly adequate. No issue with the WiFi and cable was standard but wasn't really a lot of TV during trip.

We plan on staying there again in December and found an extremely cost-efficient way to visit our son, daughter-in-law and grandson!
