Great Location

My husband, 4 yr old and I stayed here Feb 28 to Mar 4. The location and view from the condo is great! It is located on the beach and very convenient, especially with a small child. The apt is a end unit and has a balcony facing the ocean and the master bedroom has a floor to ceiling window looking out directly on the ocean so the view is amazing! The bldg is just a few minutes from walmart, a mile to the boardwalk, many restaurants and casino close by. Parking was $10 a day, when you pull in you beep and the valet opens the gate, so its veryconvenient. The unit has beach chairs, children's buckets, and all the essentials. Our 2nd day the cable (60 channels) all of the sudden changed to just basic (20 channels). When we called the apt manager, he didnt know what was going on and tried to contact the owner. After 2 days we finally found out you needed a converter box and it would take 2 weeks. With a 4 yr old this was extremely difficult because there were no cartoon channels. The apt manager agreed to reimburse us $25 to buy some DVDs for him. However, it was inconvenient with just basic cable at night. At first glance the unit looks very nice, it has many upgrades, modern furniture and beautiful hardwood floors. However, because the furniture is mostly upholstered it is in need of a good shampooing. Also the carpet in the living room was badly stained. The cleaning woman did not vacumm the couch or rug and when i took the vacumn out myself to do it, the vacumn just blew debris out of it so i know there is no way she could have vacumned it. After that and having to clean a big pink spill on the counter, i was skepical of the cleanliness so i went to walmart and bought cleaning supplies and recleaned the apartment. When i emailed the apt manager some feedback, he showed up after we checked out with the cleaning lady to reclean, however we already left. Also the walls are all white so everything shows and the apartment was in need of paint. The thing that bothered us the most was the uncomfortable beds. The mattresses were extremely soft, worn and uncomfortable. My husband slept in the guest room with my son because that bed was a little better. However, unless the mattresses were replaced we would not stay in this unit again. The bld has laundry on each floor and a nice heated pool. The beach in this area was also very nice. At night it was a little dirty but in the morning a machine came by to clean it up.
