14th Arrondissement Montparnasse Apartment Rental Photos and Description

Studio Apartment, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-4)

-Please contact us for availability information-

This serene and tastefully appointed studio apartment on the 9th floor, with elevator access, provides a majestic view of Paris and many of its legendary monuments. The highlight of this panorama is the Eiffel Tower which will delight you after dark with an hourly 10 minute light show as you enjoy a glass of champagne from your balcony.

If you choose not to explore the many restaurants nearby but rather take advantage of the gorgeous skyline, the studio's kitchen, also with a view of the Tower, is well equipped for preparing light meals and heating up delicious fare from the local 'charcuteries'. There are also several open-air markets in the area, including an impressive organic one on Boulevard Raspail, about a 20 minute walk away.

Within a 5 minute walk of the Lookout, you will join shoppers going to Galeries Lafayette and other intriguing stores in this mall. Montparnasse is also a major metro hub in Paris and a station for destinations to the west and southwest of France, including Spain.

The Eiffel Tower Lookout is the perfect place to 'Pop the question', as the testimonial below will convey and of course definitely worth booking as a prime honeymoon destination.

We are sure your stay here will be unforgettable in many ways and we look forward to having you as our guests!

'I brought my girlfriend to Paris to ask her to marry me. When I was researching this surprise trip, I came across the Vacation in Paris website I saw the pictures for this apartment and immediately booked it. I was a bit concerned because it seemed too good to be true. The price, the view, everything... what was the catch? There wasn't one - this place is perfect! When we first walked in the door, we were silent in disbelief. I almost dropped to a knee right then. Our stay in Paris was great - although the only downside was finding it hard to leave the comforts of this apartment. Than you for this great apartment, we had an excellent time. And, oh yeah, she said 'yes'.

Thanks, Scott & Allison (Los Angeles, CA)

P.S. Of course I said 'yes'. this was absolutely amazing trip - 1) Paris (my favorite city in the world). 2) this amazing apartment, and most importantly - 3) Scott- the man I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with. Allison'

Guestbook comments from the manager

I have stayed at this apartment several times in the course of 2010 due to my travelling to Paris regularly for professional reasons. I could not have asked for a better place to stay at (very central, close to the metro/shops/restaurants); I liked it so much that I came back with my fiancee over a long weekend. The flat is very clean and very well presented. The balcony gives some of the best views of Paris - it doesn't get better than that with a glass of wine on a warm summer's night. There is also a great view from the kitchen, which means doing the dishes becomes a real treat! I highly recommend this place, trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Breathtaking view!

After eloping in Chicago (with much early morning celebration), and travelling 14+ hours, we were weary travelers, happy to have a place to lay our heads. What we realized upon arriving, is that this apartment is much more than that. The view is like no other view I've ever experienced in Paris. As we let ourselves in, the Eiffel Tower began glittering. It is a fantastic and magical view. It captures the traveler's preconceived, romantic dreams of what Paris is all about. The apartment itself is great! The kitchen is extremely useful and in excellent working condition (not to mention extremely clean). I love to cook, and it provided everything I needed to whip up meals to eat in front of that gorgeous view! The murphy bed was very comfortable. I was very pleased. The living room is cute, tidy, and perfect for morning tea and the news. The building is very quiet, despite the busy city below. I expected some noise, but this apartment is truly an oasis in the middle of a fabulous and bustling city. The bathroom was much more spacious than I expected (my Paris experiences have always given me bathrooms the size of a linen closet) - and again, it was spotlessly clean. The tub was great for soaking after a long day of wandering the beautiful streets of Paris. The hot water seemed to be endless (again a pleasant surprise). The property manager is phenomenal. And will assist you with anything you may need. He graciously provided us with tips, advice on where to go, what to see, etc. He was extremely accommodating and helpful. The only downside to this place was that we had to go home! There are plenty of little restaurants and grocers in the area. We liked the convenience of Casino, and found great produce and wine in Monoprix, both within walking distance (bring your own bags). Lastly, across the street, on the top floor of the Montparnasse station, there is a FREE museum dedicated to the resistance during WWII. It was a very interesting and powerfully emotional place. There are so many items, and it really puts how difficult the French struggle was during that time. And it tells stories of the great tenacity, determination, and pride of the French people. It was unbelievable! I highly recommend staying here, unless I have already booked it! :)

It's really like the photo

Two of us spent a week in this studio and did not want to come home. View is really what the photos show. We loved just to look out at our tower from our balcony or at breakfast or just before going to sleep, waiting for the hourly twiinkling lights.

When we first arrived, we left the elevator and followed the directions to turn left down the hall. But I had not expected swinging doors with absolute dark and only a tiny strip of light as at the bottom of a door. So we waved our arms about and finally the hall lights came on; the strip of light was from under our door, not because a light was on, but because of all the light in the room from the wall of windows looking out to our tower.

Cleaner than any convent I've seen and with a bottle of wine to welcome us, the property was in excellent condition. The kitchen had everything we needed plus another view of our tower. There are two grocery stores very nearby, one small and one megastore.

We only had one minor problem and it was with the tv. We called our contact and it was ready when we got home from the day's sightseeing. Plus we had a call telling us what the problem had been and how to fix it if needed again. It worked just fine from then on.

One very nice late afternoon we decided to walk to our tower with the proviso that we would stop whenever we wanted. Really it was fun walk especially when we kept running into a trio who were to meet their guide at the tower, thinking it was only a couple minutes away.

We found several cafes in the area but returned most often to the one out the front door to left around the corner.

The location was great for all our needs. The Gare Montparnasse was just across the street along with the Metro. However some lines required quite a subterranean journey to reach.

I have already recommended this studio to friends who were going to Paris and will continue to do so. I hope that we will be able to return next year.
