The 2,3,4, and 5 express subways to Manhattan all stop at Franklin Ave (just a 5 minute walk away). It's a 15 minute ride to Wall St, and 25 minutes to Union Square, and 30 minutes to Grand Central Station.
There is street parking available in front of our building.

The Grand Army Plaza Farmer's Market is fun to visit on the weekends, and there are several specialty stores a few blocks away in Park Slope where you can buy specialty cheeses and breads.

From the Caribean jerk chicken to the hipster hang outs like Franklin Park, the neighborhood offers diversity at its best. The selection of restaurants around our apartment is very diverse, all very affordable, and most of them deliver if you feel like chilling out for a night: Bombay Masala (Indian), Udom Thai, Chavella's (Mexican), The Spice is Right (Caribbean), Bristens (paninis).
Fun Stuff.... Local Attractions!:
The beautiful Brooklyn Botanical Gardens should not be missed, just a 10 minute walk from the apartment (free on Tuesdays)! Check out the free concerts at Prospect Park, along with the drum circle on Sunday afternoons at 'Drummer's Grove' (southwest corner).
Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) is just one subway stop to Atlantic Ave, where you can see world renowned artists performing music and dance along with the local artist's scene at BAM cafe.
Brooklyn Museum is just a 10 minute walk away offering free concerts by local artists the first Saturday of every month.
The Tabernacle Church has a very lively service on Sundays. Witness the neighborhood community of worship, and experience a welcoming & friendly dose of cultural immersion.
