Built in 1931, this home is perfectly located on a quiet, residential street. This charming home features an enclosed porch, hardwood floors, updated bathroom and kitchen, formal dining room, welcoming living room and small but comfortable bedrooms. The washer and dryer are conveniently located on the 2nd floor. A 5 minute walk will get you in town to wonderful shops or a seat at the many restaurants. A short stroll will get you to the shore path which runs along the ocean. Like going to Gramma's house, we believe you will feel right at home here.

Location of home and other info: Located on a quiet residential street, this home is located near downtown Bar Harbor. Just a short walk will take you to all the wonderful shops, restaurants, theaters, parks and the pier. Even though it has no direct access to the ocean, the next street over, Hancock Street, will lead you right to the Shore Path. Of course, the jewel of Mt. Desert Island, Acadia National Park, is just a mile away. ANP offers miles of carriage roads for walking and cycling, miles of hiking trails highlighting awesome vistas, lakes for fishing, beaches for swimming and sun bathing. Other attractions include kayaking, whale watching, 'The Cat' ferry to Nova Scotia and much more. Walk uptown to enjoy the night life, then walk back home. You will have access to the front and side yards. The back yard is small and used for property storage by the owner. You will have access to the first and second floor but no access to the basement which has the mechanical room for the home. No AC, but fans provided.

great location. 5min walk to the oceanfront. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby.

My family stayed here over the July 4th week and we couldnt have been happier with the house. The price was great and the location in town was a key point for us as we have 2 small children. We were one block from the ice cream store. Great value for the money!
