This is an amazing lake house for a peaceful, private getaway. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery with my parents ( who flew down from Libertyville Illinois). I recently graduated from USC and very much enjoyed spending time away from downtown Columbia with my parents. It only rained one day this past week; the weather was immaculate! Hopefully the heron will be on the dock for the next visitors. We really enjoyed viewing his majestic presence. Thank you for letting us share this beautiful home for my graduation.

My husband Andy and I live on Lake Murray and absolutely love it! Andy was a pilot for Pan Am and then Delta and commuted to New York in order to live on the lake. He now is a golfer and can gladly help you with any area golf questions. I am a former French teacher and love to be in or on the lake. If you don't have a boat, my arm could easily be twisted to take you for a ride.
We had been renting it as annual rental since 1991 and decided to do VRBO. It's been fun! We travel and have always loved staying in Bed and Breakfasts. This is the next best thing as we aren't tied down to daily work, but have the joy of providing to renters, what we think is special. We love telling people about the lake and area, but most people do not want to leave the relaxation of the water and house.
All guests comment on how much they love the gazebo, which is right beside the lake.
Renters who bring boats, love being able to launch boats from the property and park their trailers. There is a lot of room for kids to play & big 'kids' games. Sun rises are spectacular.
