Palazzo Uguccioni, Historic Renassance Palace:
Elegant Palazzo Uguccioni is a 16th century Renaissance palace in Florence's Piazza della Signoria. After the Palazzo Vecchio, this palazzo is one of the most important palaces in the piazza. The building, with its noble and harmonious façade, was created by Mariotto di Zanobi Folfi in 1549 to a design by Raphael. The ground floor is constructed with large ashlars forming three arches, while two stories rise above and are divided by twin columns of the Ionic and Corinthian order.

Our completely refurbished apartments offer the unique possibility of enjoying a full immersion in the arts and history of Florence, with all the comforts and independence of a home away from home. Our 'Panorama' apartment is located on the top floor of the palazzo (accessed by elevator and short staircase). It affords beautiful views, yet is quietly set back from the noise and commotion of the piazza (a big plus in our busy city!).
The apartment shares a common reception room with four similar apartments. The common room provides a tasteful sitting area with a comfortable sofa and chair, plus a laundry room supplied with shared washer/dryer, iron/ironing board, drying rack, vacuum, brooms and more. In the common room, you will also find a selection of tourist information to help you plan your stay, including up-to-date brochures, maps, calendars and other recommendations.

'We stayed in one of your apartments on Wed 16th - Fri 18th of this month. I'm just writing to say that the accomodation was fantastic and that we shall be returning to Florence next summer and will be booking well in advance to stay in your beautiful apartments (for a longer period). They were the perfect base to explore the city from and a very relaxing escape from the busy streets when you needed a break.
