Betsie River offers great summer canoeing, kayaking, with spring and fall Salmon and Steelhead runs.

Crystal Mt. offers downhill skiing, two 18 hole golf courses, pools, spa, an Alpine Coaster and more.

There are more than 300 miles of snowmobile trails minutes from the cabin.

Golf: Crystal Mt. has two outstanding 18 hole golf courses just 1 mile from the cabin.

Many other great courses are with a 20 minute drive.

Fishing: The Betsie River has a great Salmon and Steelhead run in the Spring and fall and one of the best places to fishing them is the hole right in front of the cabin.

Twenty minutes away Frankfort offers pier fishing in Lake Michigan as well as charter boat fishing.

There are also many smaller lakes to fish within a few minutes drive.

Crystal Mt. Resort: Crystal Mt. Resort was rated top family resort in the Midwest.

It offers a good variety of slopes and terrain parks for skiing and snowboarding.

Something for everyone.

The resort also has an indoor, outdoor pool and hot tubs.

The outdoor pool has a water park for the kids.

Crystal also has Michigan's only Alpine Coaster.

Property has 190 feet of Betsie River Frontage, 20 minutes to Lake Michigan with many smaller lakes nearby for great boating and fishing.Local area offers skiing, golfing, spa, swimming, hiking trails, antiquing, fishing, charter fishing, snowmobiling on groomed trails, local festivals, fall color tours, wine tasting tours, and outside fire pit. Betsie River has great Salmon and Steelhead runs in spring and fall.

No need to look any further!

This is the perfect rental for group get aways. The minute you walk in you know it was built with love and care. It is spacious and cozy and you will feel right at home. The fireplace is awesome with a gas starter for a log buring fire. You can cross country ski right out the front door and over to Crystal. Our group was there for a ski weekend, but plan to return in the summer for biking and kayaking. I highly recommend this home away from home!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Better than Crystal Resort

We enjoyed our second stay at this very clean cabin with a soaring riverstone fireplace and strong water pressure showers. The owner is very responsive which makes this a home away from home close to Crystal Mountain. We definitely recommend staying at this cabin.

Great vacation!

Beautiful home! SUPER clean. We had 4 adults and 7 kids, and there was plenty of room for everyone. It has all of the amenities of home. We were able to save money by making meals there, and wash our clothes before we left so we wouldn't have to take home a bunch of dirty clothes. We will definitely be back next year!

The cabin is as good as a cabin can get! We had an amazing time, my friend got engaged with a beautiful view (and bride to be), and Tim is a pleasure to deal with. I would give this place/owner 6 stars if I could.

Family Outing

We enjoyed an excellent stay at the cabin! It was clean and fully prepared for our stay upon arrival. The cabin easily accommodated our family of eight. The fireplace is great and the chopped wood supply ample. The kitchen is well-equipped and easy to cook and prepare meals in. Although ours was a winter stay, it was nice to have the flowing river in the backyard. Close proximity to Crystal Mountain Resort (5 min. by car) was also a big plus for our stay. Overall, we were delighted and plan to return again, maybe in the summer, and certainly next winter.
