Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2.25 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Our family cabin was built in 1949 and is an original Bliss cabin. It comes with the privacy of almost forty acres of woods in a private association, has 200 feet of frontage on beautiful Lake Michigan and sits on a bluff above a beautiful sandy beach. Walking or biking distance to the Good Hart Store which is full of tasty provisions and driving distance to the historic Leggs' Inn and Crows Nest for dining in Cross Village. @0 minutes from Pellston International Airport, 1 1/2 hour drive from Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City. Harbor Springs Airport can also be used for private planes, jets and helicopters.

Great shopping in Harbor Springs and thirty minutes from Mackinaw City, Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island. On a clear day you can see Beaver Island. Nights will impress you with twinkling stars and blinking lighthouses. Have a bonfire on the beach, marshmallow roasting a must.

If quiet privacy, rest and time with friends and family on a beautiful beach is what you seek, this is a great spot. If your preference is shopping, dining and playing golf or people watching our cabin puts you within twenty minutes of numerous fun spots. We would love to open our summer home to you and yours.

We moved to Harbor Springs 20 years ago with our children. The cabin has come down thru my husbands family.

Quiet - Total relaxation - Great sleeping- kayaking and canoeing and body surfing on a wavy day.walking the beach and hunting for the perfect stone, one will see very few other people.

Who could ask for more then to vacation on the pristine waters of Lake Michigan and yet be minutes away from great food and shopping.

Either of the bedrooms, one with an attached toilet, a toilet seat that sits 5' higher the normal and a comfortable lift chair in the living-room by the fireplace. Use walkers and chairs and electric scooters outside. Getting to the beach would be tough but we slid my dad down the path in a kayak! The shower room is tile with grab bars a there is a portable shower chair to use.

We stayed a week last summer at the Bliss Cabin. Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed was the view! Spectacular!

The cabin was just as described, well stocked with all you'll need for a great time on the lake. There's a picnic table in the yard overlooking the lake, and a short trail down the bluff to a private beach with fire pit. Beach rocks required water shoes, but the water was great for kayaks, rafts or just to cool off on a hot day at the beach. Sunsets were the best!

Reservation process was easy and honest, directions were perfect. Owner is very accomodating and available to answer questions, etc. as needed.

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely return in the future.

A wonderful father/son time

My dad was celebrating his 93rd birthday. He and I spent many years traveling to a rather rustic trout fishing lodge in upper Michigan. I wanted to surprise him with a similar experience with knotty pine, stone fireplace, comfortable beds, but also a great kitchen to keep the restaurants to a minimum. This cabin did the trick perfectly! We had a wonderful 3 days and even if the weather did not cooperate, it always felt warm and welcoming to return "home" to this beautiful cabin. The lake certainly showed us plenty of attitude during our time there, but who cares......Just throw anther log on the fire... Thanks Dee.
