This newly constructed Blue Ridge Pine Log Home was built to accommodate families and small groups in a secure, and private setting in the Alleghany mountains. There is a locked gate system to enter the developement and another gate at the house. In the entire newest recreation developement in the area, there are about 5 full time residence, and a caretaker who checks the gates each day. Local service providers, and real estate sales people are given limited access by the land owners as they need them. The home sets on 5 acres of rolling Mt. Land with views of the western mountains. Wildlife abounds on and around this property which is situated in a 3500 acre recreation development. We have seen just about every variety of wildlife known to the mountain regions in the piedmont region. There are over 25 miles of gravel maintained roads which can be used to ride your horse, or controlled 4 wheeler riding. You can even park your boat or RV, as there is plenty of room for them.

The access to the property is very close to a primary Interstate Highway, but quiet and private when you arrive. There is deeded access to the George National Forest and many foot trails to hike on. There is stocked trout fishing in the immediate area. The ladies enjoy sightseeing, the Hot Springs resort shopping, and the Greenbrier resort in white sulfur springs W.Va. The Virginia Horse center is 30 minutes away, where there are many national horse and pony shows, as well as rodeos and plenty of Country Music events. You can return home to the cabin to play yard games or just set back in one of the 15 chairs (mostly rockers) or dine on the large screened porch or sunbath on our large deck with many deck chaise loungers. In the month of October, the fall foliage is gorgeous and local towns have festivals to celebrate the event. The dining room is retro with seating for up to 12 or more people.
