Rincon Vacation Rental apartment

If you want to feel like you are part of PR and not a tourist then you will want to stay here. Great apartment with a beautiful view. Right in the heart of locals. Can be a little tricky to find the first time but the neighbor who takes care of the place is very sweet and helpful. She came and found us and showed us the way.
As with most all homes in PR this apartment does not have air conditioning which in the heat of the day can be very warm inside but there are fans and it gets comfortable during the night.
Owner was very helpful prior to visit and when we got lost.
I recommend checking out the lighthouse in Rincon around sunset. Very beautiful. Also take a trip to the lighthouse and salt flats in Cabo Rojo straight south along the Caribbean Sea. Doesn't take very long to get to and it was the highlight of our trip along the west side of the island.
People are very friendly and helpful. The local food is great. Ricon Tropical has great food! :) Be wary of going to the caves though. We sat for almost 2 hours waiting to see them and then they announced they wouldn't be taking anymore tours for another 2 1/2 hours and to come back. We got our money back and went to the Observatory which is very interesting and cheaper to see. If you get to the other side of the island go to the Rain Forest. You won't be disappointed. It's amazing. But go early because it gets packed with people.
I definitely would recommend this apartment and a trip to PR. We had an amazing trip and I can't wait to go back and explore.
