Photos and Description of the Kamilari vacation house rental

Our detached vacation home is quietly located at the edge of the village of Kamilari, not far from the sea (2.5 km). The house is surrounded by olive trees and rural gardens. It has a view of Crete's mountains. An oasis of rest and relaxation, it is especially suitable for children. We pamper with high-class interior decorations and much, much space. A cosy living-room, a very large kitchen/living-room and a covered outdoor patio invite you to lay and linger. Children and garden furniture is available. We also lease in the winter (airline in the wintertime: Olympic Airways). We obtain dipping courses, riding trips, botanical migrations, canyon hikes, yoga courses, cars and motorcycle. Our caretaker speaks German and English.

The rustic, traditional Cretian village is located not far from beautiful, kilometer long swimming beaches. Kamilari has two convenience stores, three taverns, a moped and automobile rental, as well as a playground for children.

Further Information: Crete has summer like temperatures until November. From October / November to about mid March, the mild Cretian winter has many sunny days, making it ideal for hikes in the mountains and walks by the sea. Our house is well equipped for winter rentals. Modern heaters assure comfortable heat in the entire living area. Winter beds are available. Visit Crete's diverse nature and use our comfortable house as a good base - may be over Christmas and New Year's. Group rentals: with groups of more than 8 people (e.g. meditation, hiking) you can rent more lodgings in the neighborhood.

Courses: We arrange dipping courses, riding trips, botanical migrations, hikes canyon, yoga courses, cars and motorcycle.

Other Activities: Go karting, fishing

Schönes Haus, schöner Ort

Das Haus ist schöner als die Bilder erahnen lassen, liebevoll und schön eingerichtet fühlt man sich sofort zu Hause. Wir kamen gegen 22.30 Uhr an, das Licht brannte, der Schlüssel war hinterlegt und drinnen erwarteten uns Wein und frische Blumen. Die schön überwachsene Veranda ist - zumindest im Sommer - das wichtigste "Zimmer", hier konnte man immer schattig sitzen. Viele gute Tipss von der Vermieterin, was Ausflüge, Autovermietung, und nette Tavernen betrifft. Der Ort Kamilari ist wirklich der netteste weit und breit, die Bewohner sehr nett und freundlich. Zum Meer muss man circa 6 km fahren, der Strand ist sehr schön und gehört ebenfalls in der Umgebung zu den schönsten. Wir und unsere Kinder (12 und 14 Jahre) haben uns hier sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Hause ein paar nette Bücher, wenn die Urlaubslektüre ausging und Spiele, sowie ein paar STrandutensilien. Lediglich die Waschmaschine, die man nicht benutzen durfte, fehlte etwas.

Festost (nur 8 km. entfernt) ist toll und viel schöner als Knossos!

Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!
